Lol. If that Rogue cut trailer is anything to go by...... she'll be as pathetic as she was in X1-X3. I still can't believe the rip off cheek of them even releasing this as a separate edition. I hope everyone just YouTubes or downloads it.

Many more movies have released special editions with fewer content. At least this one has two commentary tracks. Plus they told us before the theatrical blu-ray came out that this one was coming out. It's people's fault if they got that first one and couldn't wait to get this one.

I already preordered it.More stuff with original cast,and a 2 disk dvd special edition with special features like 2 commantary tracks and BTS stuff.

This is special cut.not only are scenes going back in but some stuff is taken out of film.

It also mostly showed scenes from the theatrical cut. Why would they show what people are buying the blu-ray for?

Well that I agree with. I've already said they most likely cut Rogue's scenes in the original theatrical release 1) she had a small role (though other than Wolverine, what future X-man really have a big role in DOFP) but also 2) because her part most likely took away from Mystique's importance in the plot, as she would've most likely been a part of the source of the sentinel's ability to call on any mutant powers, something Mystique is incapable of.

But calling Rogue pathetic from 1 second shot? :S

thats such a ridiculous reason to cut a scene after it was filmed and they knew exactly what they were filming too

You're being contradictory here. You're saying they knew exactly what they were filming but yet you're against the notion that maybe Rogue was a part of the experimentation for the source of the Sentinel's powers?

I guess we'll see in The Rogue Cut.

Unlike that brilliant decision in X2, I just thought it was ineffective this time in DOFP.

Isn't the fact that Rogue looked in a weak state in that glimpse we got in the first trailer indicative that she was at least being experimented on? If she was just being held prisoner, she wouldn't have looked that bad, no?

I too believe as well that she was originally the source for the Sentinels abilities. I believe they figured it clashed with the importance of Mystique's assasination, so they mixed the two.

Hmmm. The bright flashes could represent what is supposed to be lightning. Maybe the jet vs. Storm? Or is that structure too small for the jet?

The rig for the Blackbird in DOFP had the outer cockpit built so they could get some exterior shots I believe, that one just looks completely enclosed. It could just be the angle since we're lower, but it might not be the jet? Could be another set that requires dramatic movement, like Jean shaking a house/room or something. Or just another part of the Blackbird like the Xavier/Magneto confrontation on the plane.
