Makes me wonder if Deadpool will be in the future where X-Force may be and that way tie into the X-World where perhaps after an X-Men movie if a villain gets away we see X-Force track them down in the future to kill them.

That's way too high and considering Fifty Shades, a movie that played to the Valentine's Day crowd, on the same weekend this year "struggled" to get to $90 Mil. Remember that this is also not a Summer Weekend.

Looking at Kingsman, which was a success at an opening at $36 million, I'm pretty sure Fox will be really happy if it crosses $40 million.

Aside from being bigger and less shiny, how so? Not knocking the look btw. I do wonder why they kept the X3 look for dofp though. Prefer the organic look he had in X2.

lets also not pretend that that wasn't the first time we saw the guy.. which was a massive majority of the badassness in that scene

the organic "invisible skin with muscles" look was really cool, but also likely a headache to animate.. it was extremely detailed

... the CGI looks honestly better now in comparison..

but yeah.. it was the staging.. it was a badass moment and also the first time we saw anyone but mystique "morph up" since iceman asn't allowed to until X3...

to say those weren't major factors are all pretty erroneous.

sure he looked cool, but the staging, the moment.. everything was spot on and enhanced all of it...

Man colossus looks unbelievably awesome. He is proof that you must go that route with Apocalypse. Apocalypse requires more CGI than colossus. Not to beat a dead horse but Apoc just looks silly to me as is. He doesn't look human ever accept when he morphs into one. Now you got a human with a suit on playing him? I wish the people doing deadpool were doing X-men. Let singer direct it. Let those guys handle the special effects. That would be a match made in heaven.

No way Deadpool is better than Matrix Reloaded. Thats my favorite movie of all time. But I love where the creators heads are at. Wish the creators of X-men had there head in the same place. If singer bounces, I hope they give it to the people making Deadpool because they are approaching it right. I absolutely love love love love what I see from Deadpool so far. Visually stunning! That is a must with any super hero movie in my opinion. Yes, it doesn't mean it will be a good movie, but still, for me, that is a must in a super hero movie.

Of course...absolutely no surprise there. That is very important to some Marvel fans, and he fails miserably in that department. Makes the movies a disappointment every time for me. But I love the X-men to much to not support there movies at the end of the day. I always think to myself how much better they should of been.

You haven't just beaten that horse. You've slaughtered it, poured gasoline on it, and lit it on fire. You're now using the glue to seal the envelopes containing the hate mail you send to Singer on a daily bases.
