Also, 3/4 of the MUC uses Powered Armors,Weapons, and Athletic Abilities.

The only people that have powers in the movies (not counting any of the tv shows) is Hulk (obviously) and Scarlet Witch (funny enough, even they don't explain what her powers are because to quote what Hill said when describing the twins, "He's Fast, She's Crazy").

Huh, now that you mention it, I guess that's why I'm personally not a fan of the MCU characters in general. X-Men powers are just cooler compared to super strength, super athleticism and high tech weaponry. But that's just me. XD

I think they gave a vague definition to Scarlet Witch's powers so that they have the opportunity to explore her magical abilities in the future if need be. So for now, she's just 'weird', until movies like Dr. Strange can introduce the mystical element to the MCU properly.

But nyeh I always thought her original skillset was the most interesting, and is the one I personally want to see translated to the X movies if possible. Simple hex bolts of misfortune, not too OP, and rather unique. I also liked the Ultimate version of the character where she had to do probability calculations in her head before casting her hexes.

I've just noticed that the order of the cast list on the FOX website ( http://www.foxmovies.com/movies/x-men-apocalypse) has changed slightly. I don't know when the modifications were made, but compared to the last time I had visited it (which was a few months ago), Sheridan, Turner and Till have been bumped up, while Munn, Peters, Smit-McPhee and Shipp have been bumped down.

James McAvoy
Michael Fassbender
Jennifer Lawrence
Oscar Isaac
Nicholas Hoult
Rose Byrne
Tye Sheridan
Sophie Turner
Olivia Munn
Lucas Till
Evan Peters
Kodi Smit-McPhee
Alexandra Shipp
Josh Helman
Lana Condor
Ben Hardy

Good news for those hoping Jean and Cyclops take more of a center stage. Munn and Smit-McPhee were expected given what we heard on Psylocke and Nightcrawler.

Well really the order of the cast list doesn't mean much since halle berry was quite high up for DOFP credits and yet her role was pretty small.

I imagine ben hardy may have more of a role then Lana Condor since he is in more marketing

Me to. Xmen has great varied colourful powers. Part of why I loved the future battles in X-Men Days of Future Past was the variety of cool powers. Teleportation, super strength, ice, fire, lightning, flying, metal manipulation & energy blasts

In X-Men: Apocalypse there's going to be Telepathy, Metal Manipulation, Flying, Shape-Shifting, Optic Blasts, Telekinesis, Teleportation, Psyonic Energy Weapons, Lightning and Weather & Matter manipulation.

Of them all this is the most "super" of superhero franchises

It looks like the kid Logan bumps into on the stairs when he wakes up in the future.

I realize a lot of people are comparing the XMA trailer views to Civil War, which I don't find fair. CW is in a league of it's own.

Here's a breakdown of the trailer views compared to DoFP (only using official channels):

X-Men: Days of Future Past Official Trailer - 32,986,135
X-Men: Apocalypse Teaser Trailer
- 46,489,674

X-Men: Days of Future Past Official Trailer 2 -
18,068,203
X-Men: Apocalypse Official Trailer -
10,864,705 (So Far)

X-Men: Days of Future Past Official Trailer 3 - 20,411,233

Very encouraging.
No way he stays the same age for 50 years. Unless it's his power
I'm thinking about Rogue or Tempus. Or just a random kid lol.

Probably some random kid.

Cable is a time travel character and Nate is a different version of Cable who gets transported to a different reality. ;) Probably just a random character, but it could a fun nod. :p

Rewatching the second trailer. I absolutely love the first minute. The ominous music and material with Apocalypse is 10/10 good. After Magneto's line it kind of falls flat on it's face and the mood build up kinda dies, and never picks up as impressive. I guess the problem is the second half of the trailer is mostly just quick action shots, and that gives the impression there isn’t much plot there that obviously exists. So many dumb comments on Youtube. "Green screen trash", "Mystique and Friends" and the worst of them all "All cgi and no plot, that's Fox". What a profoundly stupid thing to say. Do people even realize these Marvel movies are like 5% of the whole slate of movies Fox releases annually.

The first 30 seconds to a minute of the trailers soundtrack sounds like a really slow simplified version of the X2/DOFP theme.

So that could potentially be from Ottman's score? That's pretty exciting

There's also the "Where's Wolverine?" comment that everyone on YouTube keeps posting. The fans are major hypocrites because for years, they've complained how the X-men series focused too much on Wolverine (especially when Days of Future Past was being promoted) but as soon as FOX released it's 1st Apocalypse trailer, everyone's upset that he's not in the movie. Have they all forgotten that First Class didn't have Wolverine either (despite his cameo)? What more do the fans want out of these films?

Damned when they do and damned when they don't

:loco:

X-Men has been criticised for being all plot and little action compared to others so this fools got it all backwards

Besides people still can't get over that F4 movie and keep claiming that Fox has nothing to do with Deadpool's success.

I hope X:A will be a financial and critical success and X-Franchise will get the respect it deserves. Someday we can read all the comments in the comicbook, superherohype... without the negativity lol.

Yeah it's hilarious how success of movies like The Revenant or Deadpool is always said to have nothing to do with Fox, but when movie fails it's totally Fox's fault. People would do good to just realize that all of these studios exist to make a profit, and that's it.
