So fox is just going to give up millions of dollars of revenue huh? lol

Maybe. Just maybe. A collaboration between Fox and Marvel Studios might be possible... a few years from now. But the idea that Fox would just give up a $3.8 billion franchise is extremely funny to me.
Then again I'm in the camp that doesn't want the X-Men in the MCU anyway. I prefer mature themes, R-rated X-Force, Deadpool and Wolverine.
I concur
Even as someone who thinks Marvel Studios is a little more faithful and much more consistently good, I don't see how the X-Men could be brought in to the MCU without some silly alternate dimension story.... and if DP teaches Fox to "go for it" a little more, there's no reason the X-Films can't reach that level of consistent quality

Deadpool himself though? He could cross over with just a brief "I'm Deadpool, I can show up in whatever movie I want" 4th wall moment

I feel those who claim apocalypse and wolverine will be last films of fox's x-men series and then deadpool will be retconned as part of MCU and then deadpool,X-force,and rebooted X-Men will be produced by marvel set In MCU with fox only distrubting X-men films similar to spider-man is now produced by marvel but spider-man films distributed by sony are ignoring a key thing.there is nothing to suggest they would want a fox film
as part of MCU.and I mean deadpool especilly since it was rated r.a big no no according to feige.yeah the comedic tone of deadpool would fit with MCU unlike the X-men but that film had adult themes in it.

let's assume for shake of arguemnet it happened.based on what russio brothers said marvel might want X-men In MCU primarly for wolverine.

While it's true Simon Kinberg has talked about X-Men/Avengers and spider-man/Deadpool crossover films only way they could happen In dimensional travel thing which if FF wouldn't have failed was only way they could have done X-Men/FF crossover.

Just saw the Nightcrawler clip. Like it a lot, but the first thing that came to my mind was, "Bonesaw is ready". :funny:

I hope there's a Horsemen clip soon!

Because I'm on #TeamDestroy

Nightcrawler clip is nicely shot... but how exactly do you hold a teleporter captive in a cage?

Yeah and there's no way Deadpool will not be rated R going forward. At least I don't think so.

again, not that I think it'll happen
but that could be played up for laughs too

DP: "Oh are you kidding me, this things rated PG-13?? S**t!"

It must be night crawler can't teleport out of electric field. His box was charged and so was the cage. Plus the reasoning behind mystique turning the cage off.

The assumption is maybe he can't teleport out of an electric field.

That or he's simply too scared and stressed. He's just a kid.

I don't need X-Men to be part of the MCU. What story would we get? Would they go for Avengers vs X-Men (similar like Captain America: Civil War)? Or, more probably, go for the end of the world scenario with a big bad, but who needs that when you already have Thanos and Apocalypse?

Personally, I don't really like when Spider-Man/Avengers shows up in X-Men comic-books, like I feel like they are better off on their own. Like its cool to see the other superheroes since I only buy X-Men comic-books but still. And I don't want to see that in the movie.

Like if ever Marvel Studios gets the film rights (and they won't), I prefer if they just keep X-Men separated and just be more faithful than the Fox X-Men movies.

This whole "Marvel Studios needs to control the world" idea needs to die, as does this preposterous notion that X-Men isn't and hasn't been a monumentally successful franchise.

The fact that it has lasted 16 years and only produced ONE movie that was panned by both critics and general audiences ought to be enough to kill both of these ideas, but it apparently isnt.

Critically I don't think there can be much argument. And even TLS wasn't that unpopular with the GA, just fans, although XMO:W was a turd. But financially for perspective DOFP was a great film and made only $234m domestically while CW is probably going to make that in a few days.

So?

I don't want the X-Men in the MCU at all. I never even really felt the X-Men worked in the greater Marvel universe. The world hates mutants, but super powered characters like The Avengers and Spider-Man are A-OK? I like the metaphor the X-Men present and it all falls apart when you introduce other super powered characters.

so it's screening tonight??

Yep, and then for the fans in London. Press embargo lifts Monday at 2PM.

As long as they keep making them, why does it matter? I don't care that Civil War will make more than Apocalypse, as long as I enjoy Apocalypse and makes enough for more movies, I'm happy.

The "X should be making X amount" is a bs argument, and just fanboy dick measuring.

I just started yesterday reading regular X-Men titles (Uncanny/Extraordinary).... and I read an issue where an Inhuman is scared of a mutant, like Jean saved an inhuman and after that the inhuman was like "eww you're a mutant" and the inhuman instantly ran off like he was so scared, that just made me LOL.

Its just hard to imagine with so many superheroes and supervillains in the world other than the X-Men, X-Men still gets treated as the lower class citizens. Its really weird, even if X-Men being treated as outcasts leads to some interesting story-arcs.
