Who said anything about being cool? Some people just don't get so upset that they have to run to the mods. It's not that serious. And again, it IS tattling when you advise people ignore to your comments only to turn around and report people for doing the same thing you were doing yourself. How are you going tell people to ignore your comments but you won't ignore theirs? Yes this is a large site .But monitoring things is supposed to be certain people's "jobs." Of course you're not going catch everything. But just because people don't get offended enough to run to you doesn't mean they're enabling anything. They just don't get their feelings hurt so easily.

Hey, you do you. But like C. Lee said, if you don't report things then you cannot be mad when nothing gets done.

But you all have to also remember this in regards to the mods: we're volunteer. I don't get paid for this job, and I have a full 40 hr a week job and lots of things going on in my personal life (especially at this time...weddings do that to you). That is going to be similar for all our mods on here. We do what we can for the site.

That's pretty much all I have to say on this issue.

No one seems to get called out for being called fox shills, kinberg (posting himself), flunkies being paid by fox exec's, etc. Funny how the ones telling others to "just put me on ignore or skip over my comments" are the first to report others to the mods when someone does the exact same things they do.

Still. The other generic Movie Trailer YouTube Channels has more views than the actual X-Men: Dark Phoenix Channel. Which would strengthen my argument.

It's just not being talked about. They dropped it late at night in the US and I haven't really seen it talked about or shared online.

Enjoyed the trailer. I think it looks much better than Apocalypse, which is a good start.

I think the effects look pretty good for the most part, even Beast and Mystique's makeup which has has been a mixed bag for a few movies. I like the look at a few of the scenes teased here. Fassy and McAvoy are still tremendous in their roles. Storm even has a line in the trailer, which is a backhanded compliment for sure but I was still happy about it. As mentioned before, Jean does more here than she did in TLS already, and I'm sure Scott will too just by not dying. I think it's a smart choice to 'spoil' the easily telegraphed Mystique death as her reception has become so sour this might actually tempt more people in.

On the downside, this film is knee-capped by being a retread and I just don't care about many of these characters in their current incarnation. The kids are too new in a franchise too old for this to resonate. Kinberg seems determined to earn back some credibility with this movie, and I'm not sure why he's chosen this hill to die on. It's likely to blow up in his face. A simple X-Men story with a fresh villain and some fun set-pieces was probably a better choice.

Whether I'm offended or not doesn't mean you shouldn't reinforce the rules to everyone and only pop up when certain people report something. You're a moderator, so how about you actually moderate and make your rounds? You're the one who wanted this "position". You know what it involved. Just because I'm not reporting doesn't mean others aren't. But again, some of you mods only pop up when it's certain people doing the reporting.

I think the fact that they both are staying level headed even though some of you are downright aggressive when you write to them proves that they are not biased. They are going above and beyond as far as I'm concerned.

Theory: He is saving to show the fire bird for the last trailer or movie itself. Why I think this?? Check out the difference in VFX of Jean absorbing the cosmic power from Trailer 1 to 2. alSO, remember the first trailer of DOFP where they showed Colossus punching air, which turned out to be a sentinel in later VFX that they were holding on to showing to everyone?? Just a theory... also wishful thinking haha

I check all the reports that come in, and I can tell you with absolute certainty that if it is happening, you all are not reporting it. If you were, I would be doing something about it. If this is something that is happening and you guys want it to change, then take charge and make some reports. Once again, I don't have time to "make the rounds" for every thread on this forum. I do what I can when I am online. That's all any of us can do. I'm also not psychic and can assume what forum is going to have a problem on what day. Just like cops can't make the rounds and prevent all crimes that are going on. Sometimes you need to call 9-11. If you don't and no one comes to prevent the crime taking place, then you cannot blame the cops either. Same principle applies.

The moderator assigned to this forum has not been able to be here as much as they used to and various others have been filling in when they can. Apparently you ignored Spider-Fan's earlier statement....we are volunteers here....we do what we can when we can for nothing.
