I like the posters, and how they used the effects of the phoenix powers on it, it's cool.

As for the movie time, it's a mess, I've read

Out of thoughs 2hr 12mins seems the most realistic given the runtimes of the recent xmen (from first class) and spin offs (Logan, the Wolverines etc) films.
They seem to come in about ~2hr 10-20mins range.

When do we usually get runtime announcements before the release of a film?

While obviously IMBD isn't a reliable/concrete source the 2hrs 41mins seems oddly specific.

For a movie thats about 6 weeks away we really should have a confirmed runtime by now.

2hr 12m is perfect. Anything less than 2 hours will be terrible.

of course I would like to see a xmen film with almost 3 hours of duration, but long duration does not guarantee quality or good development
of course if it is confirmed that it is less than 2 hours it can be a bit worrisome that such an important film with such a complex story is short.

In Collider's interview with Kinberg where he's asked how long the original cut is and how long the final cut will be he specifically says: "It's always lived within 2 hours, 2 hours plus universe. It's never been a 2 and a half hour movie. It's never been an under 2 hour movie. It's always lived in the 2 hour...5 minute to...2 hour...20 minute world."

Well, the fact that the trailer and special IMAX trailer was attached to the biggest opening of all time should help the film commercially. Especially in China.

did not know that apocalypse was the longest movie in the franchise, I always found DOFP a longer movie, apocalypse everything was very fast for me

Well, the fact that the trailer and special IMAX trailer was attached to the biggest opening of all time should help the film commercially. Especially in China.

I'm pretty sure the movie will do very well in china, it would already do well and with these views during EG it will help even more.
it will not be scary if in just 4 days he passes the apocalypse box office in China (120m), I can see this movie reaching 200-250m in China in total, and the launch during a big Chinese holiday will give a great force to this movie.

Around 2hrs 10min was my guess a little while back. I think that would be just about right.

I really don't know what to make of this movie. Sometimes I look at the marketing and the movie looks like a low-stakes, low-budget out-of-date superhero movie. But sometimes the movie looks like it has a well-defined visual identity committed to the cosmic and promising to do a different spin on the "dark side" story.

I do like "Every dark side has a hero" since its a nice play on the cliche.

The character posters are nice but they have to be zoomed in on faces because the characters aren't wearing anything interesting.

Hearing that they went in a purple cosmic looking direction in post vs the more character accurate fire phoenix effects bugs me. Just do it right once at least before you start reinventing like you know better (looking at you, Zombie X3 Jean).

These posters seem to have hidden meanings:

- everyone looking to the side except for Jean and Jessica, alluding to their final showdown/ jeans the only one that can destroy her.

- Professor X, his face has the darkest shadow perhaps alluding to a secret Charles is trying to hide. Notice the Tagline, everyone else is pretty well lighten up, except him

- LOOK AT mystique’s one. She’s almost looks dead. She’s the only one looking toward the ground, alluding to her fate. Looks like those post mortem pictures of the dead mutants from Dofp.

I really like the posters. I am looking forward to seeing this but once upon a time X-Men films used to be the most hyped for me. I am not feeling as hyped. I think it’s just cause I know Marvel have the rights and I’m ready to see it. But I will still see this as always. I’ve seen every X-Men film in the cinema and won’t stop on this. I hope it’s a nice send off. I’m not even looking for something to be different. I just hope it’s a decent enough story with good character moments that can end the series for this regular cast.

Some people are saying that the movie has 1 hour and 53 minutes
I would like at least 2 hours, but 7 more minutes does not make so much difference and it is not the duration that will determine if the movie is good or bad.
I just hope it's a movie with a good rhythm and well done.
1 hour and 53 minutes for a movie really focused on just one theme might work fine, X3 was smaller but two themes fought for the duration, healing and phoenix and the result was impaired.

they are in the photo, do you mean where are mutants with different appearance?
if your question was for that reason, the xavier school in the franchise never had many mutants with a different appearance (I do not remember), most have always been "normal" appearance.
