I'm happy when I see an actress who charges a better treatment of her character, she makes it clear she does not like how the storm is treated in the movies ..
I hope that really in this movie the character has an attention that deserves or at least good action scenes.

The cinematography and colours look great.

Mystique red hair looks good here: it pops but doesn't look monochromatic.
Maybe it's just a consequence of the environment and lighting (the purples of the force against), but hopefully it's the work of colour grading/post production and they fix it for the Jean House comfrontation.

the simon months ago stated this, but lee smith knows what he is doing, maybe he has seen exaggerated dialogues in the movie.

So it is under 2 hours? Ffs thats awful runtime the last ever fox xmen film. 2 year delay and reshoots for such a short length movie, if thats true im very disappointed

I don't think these are spoilers so I'm not going to cover them up.

The first one was a shot from the left of Jean and an assailant tries to attack her from the right. She then reaches out and stops them in mid air while staring straight ahead.

The second one was just a different shot of her as Phoenix that we haven't seen yet.

I’m glad that Storm will be depicted in a different manner when using her powers. All we ever see is her moving her head from side to side and raising her arms. Storm does a lot more than that I would say she exaggerates how she summons wind rains etc. so I’m excited to see what her and Simon came up with. Not only that Jean does movements as well so I can’t wait to see the action scenes.

IMDB has changed the runtime twice. I'm waiting to see this confirmed elsewhere.

It always amuses me when members with Storm avatars geek out that finally(!) Storm has action sequences!!! Like you said, action isn't what movie Storm lacks.

In truth, Storm's powers in the comics are way too powerful. IMHO.
If she creates an hurricane out of blue, she can sweep away any enemy and even other X-Men.
