X3 was a movie that was liked by general audiences. CinemaScore and Box Office proves that. Even Kinberg said that. Most of the younger audiences never even watched that movie anyway, it came out before they were born or was to too young to see or remember it. To most young people Jean looks like Scarlet Witch.

Also like Wanda, Jean has a pink aura and glowing eyes.

Should get our first official clip/scene of this movie when Sophie’s on Jimmy Fallon on Friday. Which also means the first hint of Zimmer’s score! Looking forward to the promotion tour to kick in, should be in full force next week.
how do u know for sure they will be showing a clip??

taking into account that we are only a few weeks away from the film's premiere, it is almost certain that they will show a small scene of the film during these interviews, it will probably be this Friday but the cast during this month goes on other TV shows (Conan, Graham Norton show) on any of these they should display some footage of the movie.

Transformers Dark of the Moon, that Shia LaBeouf-starrer that earned $1.12Billion in 2011 received an A CinemaScore. Was that also liked by general audiences? If you asked a random person online about that movie, would you bet they'll have nothing but good things to say about it? Are the Transformers films universally beloved?
Even Kinberg said that.
Hold the phone! Stop the presses!

After years of thinking X3 was trash, the one thing that will change the FACT that most people hated X3 is that Kinberg said the opposite. Well I guess it must be true because Simon Kinberg says it so.

So it wasn't hated but even if it was, people don't remember it?

So Kinberg removed the fire-coloured Phoenix raptor in most of the promos because he doesn't want audiences to confuse his movie with Capt Marvel's but "Just give Sophie Wanda's red coat, pink aura and glowing eyes. Go ahead!"

LOL You guys say the most ludicrous stuff.

For the sake of balance, I will say that from my experience of the "general audience" X3 is better thought of than you might expect. It moves along quick, has a good cast and decent action. It breaks down horribly if you think about it for a bit, but not everyone cares to do so. I'd wager the average movie-goer has far less problems with it than us nerds. I enjoyed it on first viewing.

Beautiful!
Hope is just not a blink and you missed thing, although i am not expecting much. Already surprised by it!

Well the follow-up Transformers: Extinction also made a billion dollars. So the Transformers movies has it fans.

IIRC, he said comic fans hated it.

So it wasn't hated but even if it was, people don't remember it?

No, I’m saying the majority of younger audiences didn’t watch it. You know that movie was 13 years ago, right? It’s not like the X-Men trilogy is regarded as a classic and inspires young people to watch it.

I didn’t never said anything remotely close to that.

As an X-men fan the last thing I want is to be compared to Bay's Transformers movies. But that's just me. *shrug*

I really like it.

The colours look great aswell as the light effects. I'm glad they gave the "cosmic" look with the purples/pinks on the edges but the orange in the centre.

I like the shape much more than the Apocalypse version and love that they actually gave it a bird head.

Is Jean the dark shape in the centre?

Time to have more posters, diferent posters.

And character posters, real character posters, not those awful cards or those eyes and nose pink ones. Full dinamic body characters using their power.

The only i liked was the oficial X one.

No more character posters, however I'd like to have one more main poster.

Looks some AMC theatres have started selling tickets as well. The AMC near me lists an IMAX fan event. Idk what that is, but I know Marvel films have the same thing.

Just saw an ad on the Hype saying this will be in theaters next month. After years of delay, it will finally be shown.

I enjoy Apocalypse and think it's quite an underrated movie, but the many delays and reshoots of this one spell disaster. I'm looking forward to experience it as soon as possible.
