Next week there are two big trailers being launched (Fantastic Beasts and
Bumblebee), maybe they want to take advantage of the expectation around the trailer compared to that of CM.

So we should gloat now, if the things we were arguing/pointing out turned to be true? Good God. So what happens if the film turned out to be bad?

3 weeks reshoots, 3months... No amount of reshoots would save the film if the foundation is bad. Did reshoots save Fantastic Four and Justice League from getting bad reviews, not really. Reshoots might make it better, but if its still bad, it doesn't mean much. So celebrating and gloating about the reshoots being shorter and the film not getting canceled are nothing if the film ends up as a disaster.

The length of the reshoots DOES matter in this conversation because people have been saying that the film needed 3 months of reshoots because it was THAT bad. It was SO bad that they needed extensive photography re-done...So based on that argument, the fact that they only filmed for 3 weeks would imply they're not changing much because they are happy with the movie.

Yes, it indeed still could be bad, but thats not what people have been arguing all summer. It's been "3 months of extensive reshoots needed because its a disaster of a movie"

When the film comes out and it turns out to be bad... 3 weeks reshoot or 3 month reshoot, it won't matter. Anyway, this is not something to be gloat about. A shorter reshoot doesn't give any hint that this is gonna turn out to be good especially we don't know yet which scenes filmed/changing from the original shooting. And this is still a Kinberg film which is the main reason for all the negativity.

it's good to remember that it was said that it would be 3 months of reshoots and that probably the date of the movie would be changed again because of this, that the movie had many problems why simon "threw in the garbage" full scenarios and that this was going to be completely remade, that the fox was not satisfied with the movie and etc.
so now that it has been proved that the recordings were smaller than all those rumors said, it's something to be happy, who knows other rumors about the quality of the movie are not liars either?

Today we had a presentation in San Petersburg of FOX and DARK PHOENIX, it was possible to see a trailer of the movie. The attendants describe it as full of action and mystery. Will we see the trailer soon?

by these numbers
in DOFP the russia was the 7 highest grossing
and in apocalypse it was # 9

I'm not talking about the box office of all the releases in russia
I'm saying that in all the countries that the film "xmen apocalypse" was released, russia was responsible for the 9th biggest box office

Why waste time being negative 10/10 times when you can contribute to conversation and debate? Also, it astounds me that you always thing everyone with a different view than yours is some exec in disguise. Good luck with that!

I don't even keep up with rumours anymore and I'm not basing my opinion of the film ending up terrible because someone claimed they saw a bad film. Its just my personal opinion/prediction that it won't be good.

Well that is Xpected. Though I wish they would just reveal who is she portraying now and who are the aliens. I'd hate to watch the film and then find out that it's another misinterpretation of a comic book character.

Skrulls, Cassandra Nova.... BROOD?! These are all questionable. Skrulls shouldn't be the main antagonists in a X-Men film. Broods don't shape shift if I recall correctly and Jessica Chastain looks nothing like Cassandra. They better reveal it now, instead of saving it for the theatrical release as I think the reaction would be a lot more negative, if they kept it a secret and the big reveal didn't pay off. And of course that would lead to bad word of mouth and bad box office legs.

Anyway, I hope the trailer is released this month. Like just get this film oout of the way already. I really wish they didn't move this to February. Like I want to start anticipating about the reboot then I remember this.

a simple brotherhood vs xmen story to set up an xmen universe would’ve done the trick. Jean storm cyclops nightcrawler beast Charles VS Magneto quicksilver toad avalanche blob, maybe introduce Emma Frost somewhere

I remember when news came out that there’d be a quicksilver in avengers 2, fox swapped juggernaut for quicksilver; when guardians of the galaxy got popular, they randomly announced Psylocke had been cast but they changed her hair to look exactly like Gamoras but she had no lines... I was honestly waiting for scarlet witch but I guess it’s all about competing or trying to catch up to marvel ?? I don’t know what your take is on that.
