Maybe on HuluIt'll be released as planned. I don't see why anything other than that would happen.
What's the precedent for that? Besides the preference of a certain group of fans?Maybe on Hulu
Mowgli moving to Netflix (which had a budget comparable to this movie) when they bought the rights. What's the precedent for that? Besides the preference of a certain group of fans?
Now that the marketing is starting to kick in and deals have been made with multiple theaters and IMAX, the thought of this film not getting a theatrical release is laughable. What's the precedent for that? Besides the preference of a certain group of fans?
Deal closes on the 20th. Now the question is - what will Disney do with this movie?
Oh oh trouble in paradise:
And here I thoughtAt one point during production for Dark Phoenix, a male co-star, who [Turner] didn't name, "walked off set" when it was her time to say her lines, resulting in a writer standing in for him. Jessica Chastain had to talk to Turner and convince her to talk to the actor.
“I actually have a really big problem with not being able to stand up for myself. Especially if I’m arguing against a man. [Dark Phoenix co-star] Jessica Chastain is the one that said it to me, ‘You need to stand up for yourself more! She [Jessica] said, ‘Just go and talk to him, go and say something to him!’ I’m a bit of a shy, pushover person, but I’m getting there, I’m working on it.”
Dark Phoenix's production overall wasn't a walk in the park. The film's release was pushed back a couple of times, ultimately landing a June 2019 roll out. And the cast and crew had to return for reshoots. But nothing personal like this has ever come to light before. One wonders what was ultimately done to address the incident. Based on Turner's account, it sounds like there were a good number of other people around when it happened. Hopefully, things were resolved in a satisfactory manner.
This story will likely pique the interest of many fans, and fuel speculation as Dark Phoenix's release draws nearer. Considering that the movie isn't adding any new actors playing a prominent role other than Chastain (whose villainous role remains a big mystery), the culprit is likely one of the original cast of characters from this prequel timeline. That makes things more intriguing, since Turner has worked with all of them before. Looking at the trailers, it appears that Turner will have interactions with McAvoy, Fassbender and Sheridan - since Jean and Scott's love affair will supposedly play a pivotal part in the narrative. As to which of them it may be, that's anyone's guess at this point. Perhaps Turner will eventually name the actor once the movie is out.
Lawrence:“But working with Simon and Hutch and Sophie was the most loving, strong, happy set.”
“It was unrecognizable. Everything was on time. Everything was organized. These movies have always been fun amidst chaos, and now they were fun with no chaos.”
I've missed Ian McKellen...But that's not why I think that. It's just Sophie has worked with all other cast members before and Fassbender's the one who got to have the unnecessary "character development" scene in Apocalypse. That's the way they treat the stars of X-men nowadays and fame can get to people's heads sometimes. personally, I've never liked him in anything else I've watched but I do think he did Magneto justice in DOFP.
Your logic puzzles me sometimes.
why?
why?
for the record, I've watched all of Game of Thrones and never skipped a Sophie Turner scene. As an average spectator I don't see why anyone would walk out on her; if you're too good for this, why not just f*** off and make movies somewhere else? I've said the same thing about Lawrence before.![]()
interesting note: marvel.com listed scarlet witch as mutant, on an mcu power ranking...Its fair to say whatever Disney will do with X-Men won't be what people think it will be. for example. alot of people look past alot of the technical issues that would come with putting the X-Men into a mutantless MCU and thats gonna be a much bigger thing to have to get around, and chances are some liberties with the X-Men lore in order to make that work.
The X-Men would be part of the MCU Lore first and foremost, the MCU won't be part of the X-Men lore.
Its gonna be a while before you hear anything about an actual X-Men team movie. and any characters that will be used will probably be minor characters no one would think Marvel would wanna use.
.
A lot of assumptions you just made right there. Its fair to say whatever Disney will do with X-Men won't be what people think it will be. for example. alot of people look past alot of the technical issues that would come with putting the X-Men into a mutantless MCU and thats gonna be a much bigger thing to have to get around, and chances are some liberties with the X-Men lore in order to make that work.

you're right, i shouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly. It's their fourth film though and I still miss the original cast. That's all it is for me.Because you base your logic is on them being in these movies when you feel they shouldn't, which means their egos must be up to no good to make it happen, which mean he must be guilty as charged for whatever.
Could have been Mcavoy, but then Mcavoy is Xavier so probably not.
Whoever it was i very much doubt it has anything to do with their status with the X-Men movies.
lol tho no fault of their own (crappy writing and underwhelming character development never mind being inept skillwise) the OC was forgettable. great actors but limited by outside factorsyou're right, i shouldn't jump to conclusions so quickly.
