Maybe if he didn't screw with Marvel ips more than once but he did. The X-Men, the Fantastic Four and the entire franchise before it went to Disney deserved someone better than Kinberg. Anyway, I also blamed foX or whoever who hired him in the first place.

As if most of them know any other villain. Fassy only knew Apocalypse because he was in a movie with Apocalypse. It would be weird if he also said "Magneto." LOL

He probably remembers Sebastian Shaw and Emma Frost. But yeah, I don't think he's that familiar with the rogues gallery of the X-Men.

My favorite X-Men villain from the comics is... I actually don't have one.

Yes this agree with. His vision was partially seen previously in X3, but Ratner and Fox got their way and they added The Cure plotline, which downgraded the Dark Phoenix to the movie's B-plot. Now that he has more pull at the studio, and now that he is not only this movie's producer and writer, but also its director, he's inexplicably using the following things again:

Xavier meeting Jean as a child. Xavier mucking around with Jean without her knowledge.
Xavier and Magneto fighting over Jean.
An X-man dying.
Magneto assisted by a female androgynous mutant with purple hair and an Asian male with hair powers.
Captured mutants in a mobile prison that is later flipped.
Zombie Dark Phoenix.
Zombie Dark Phoenix with disintegrating powers.
Dark Phoenix in a red coat.
Dark Phoenix in the forest.

I'm sure there's more.

Yes this agree with. His clear vision was previously seen in X3, but Ratner and Fox got their way and they mixed The Cure plotline with DPh, and now here. We know it's part of his vision because he is this film's director but, inexplicably he's using it again when he's already calling the shots:

Wondercon benefits the people who go to it more then the people who don't. So i dunno how much of a benefit it would be to marketing.

Good PR from those that that could spread word of mouth on his little thing called the internet ..but tbh the only people that care or know about wondercon are the people that are already interested in going to see the movie..

Wouldnt have made it through considering he left BohRhaps before principal photography wrapped and now has been relieved from Red Sonja.

But ideally speaking if he did direct his X5 it would almost certainly mean Jennifer Lawrence would have refused to come back which would have been a big positive

Didn't she say something like she wasnt planning to do another Xmen until Kinberg personally convinced her since he was in full control? Also she has spoken about her time on the Apocalypse set in a negative light so really doubt she would have come back with Singer at the helm again and thats not even mentioning his troubled reputation these days

Well, this is all speculation, but I think the studio would have demanded the return of JLaw. This is a franchise built around star power. She’d be offered gazillions and promised minimal make-up.

Singer would still have been dysfunctional and gone AWOL - and Kinberg would have had to step in and finish it.

I don't think Singer would care all that much tbh. he has always came across as flexible to alteration and even he himself likes to cut a fair amount of movie to tighten things up.

Although whether he would have done a bo-rapsody on the movie... possibly. but he did still get directing credit because he did get most of the movie done even if very unprofessional about it

I wish they would have done that, but I think it's for the best.

I've noticed that too. I'm not sure what happened with that. My info card on the side is all kinds of messed up on mobile.

I dont think there is any evidence Singer wanted to do mr sinister. It was said that end credit was more opening things up rather then had any next movie plans behind it.

I don't know why its assumed he wanted to hold off the phoenix story as he spoke just as much about that and never once spoke about it needing to be built up to do it.

It just reminds me of when people used to say Singer must hate X3. He never actually said it, but its assumed because we add extra passion to Singers motivations and intentions, when really he was pretty easy going about it.

Yea Singer liked X3 so much he designed a whole movie whose primary purpose was resurrecting X3’s 3 deaths, un”Curing” 2 Mutants, redoing Psylocke, Angel, Moira and Trask and erasing the movie he liked so much out of existence.

I was waiting for someone to bring this up. but lets remember he technically also erased either his own movies to do it or elements of his own movies anyway.

And the moment he introduced Nightcrawler into Apocalypse, he pretty much hit a reset button there for that character. although he probably didn't need to do that in order to delete X3... so does he hate his own movies?
