Unless tomorrow (thought vague rumours suggest something New Mutants is happening) I don't expect anything this week.

Star Wars (Disney owned) Celebration is this weekend, there will be a huge amount of trailers being related from Ep9 to clone wars to video games.

It's a good way to have something like the power promos from DoFP without spoiling the film. While I loved them at the time they did basically show every action shot in the film.
This would be a good way to have them use their powers in an out of films context.

I’m not really into Jean’s Dark Phoenix look with the long jacket, but this new promo has hyped up the film for me. I am still quite sceptical about Kinberg, and also considering this will be the last X-Men film for a while, I am really hoping that the film will at least be good.

“Potential to be”, in my book. It’s worth noting that while I agree that First Class is a great film and enjoyable to watch, the atrocities it set forth with the series doesn’t make it the end-all-be-all in my book. I place FC right under X2 and DoFP rounding out my top 3 x-men films on the merit of it being a good film alone, but a weird film under the ‘X-Men’ banner. This is all sans the Wolverine saga.

With the right tweaks from what I saw (which were made, it seems) and finished effects I can see it easily being above FC for my personal ranking.

So wait Mystique doesn't die and what Kinberg said to EW was a red herring? LOL Is that really what your post is about? Because most of us don't believe him when he says Dark Phoenix is just like Logan or Ragnarok or any other high quality movie. That's why we call him a liar, because we know most of the things he's saying now will not pan out when we go see the movie...

Show me the Kinberg detractors who are "taking everything he says at face value" because I don't see anyone that fits that description.

Kinberg is really proving to be quite the emerging master filmmaker. He fixed New Mutants and now the word on DP is that it is really good. I am really excited to see this end on a final good note before Kinberg carries on his talents at MCU X-men
