Just to be clear, this is your own theory right? lol Also, I don't get why you're saying he's a time traveler either..

It’s easy, yes, when you’re just making stuff up. I have my own easy explanation for all of these continuity errors; laziness.
Focusing on Shaw and saying he is a time traveler is just.. bizarre. I don't think anybody on Earth thought about this except for you.My theory strongly based on the undeniable soft reboot nature of "First Class", as well as several contradictions.
If you don't get it, read my detailed timelines, they are clear.![]()
Univentive explanation. Use your mind LOL

I haven’t read any spoilers for the original cut or the reshoot version but I have a feeling that originally it wasn’t a cosmic entity. They originally described it as a solar flare that Jean absorbs and hurls back into space.
I’m suspecting that after backlash of it looking and sounding similar to X3, the reshoots changed it to a cosmic entity - which is why Sophie is wearing her wig in the scene where Jessica chastiain explains that the force destroyed everything it touched until Jean.
Since she already had fire in apocalypse, the cosmic entity is now purple/pink to show a difference, and the fire aspect of jeans power will fuse with it - so the effect was changed from orange to pink in post.
The effects are growing on me though and I do believe the trailers are hiding a lot.
BUT it could also mean he never really understood the source material in the first place... this movie gives me so much anxiety, I just want it to come out already!!!
That Hoult's Beast does not look convincing to me. Beast shouldn't have the physique/proportions of a normal human anywayWhat exactly are you getting at?
On the one hand, wasn't it you who was mad posting all the pink Phoenix raptors from various comic pages (including Uncanny 157 with who you thought was Phoenix...but was instead Shadowcat pretending to be Dark Phoenix--with Nightcrawler's pink "Bamf" behind her lol) to prove that Kinberg "finally" got the colour right? Now, I wonder why they changed this look (which had already been rendered) during post render for the re-shoots? Hmmmmm. It seems the delay wasn't simply for rendering only the reshoots. "Questions, questions....."
that are pulling the rug from under him? I can't keep up with all the different narratives. He's trying to get you to hate a VFX sequence, the Phoenix raptor from Apocalypse, a movie that had a fraction of the Post-Production length, so that whatever Kinberg comes up with for Dark Phoenix is automatically better. What exactly are you getting at?
but this franchise is grounded. You cant get creature like bodies, u know, dude????
that should be left for other franchises, not this one, that is more serious and realistic.
I think you're confusing me with a different poster. I never liked the newer re-rendered look over the old version. Other people don't seem to mind (although to be fair the newer look isn't exactly finalized in the newest trailer).
Well, let's just say I'm privy to information you're not. There were a lot of changes that weren't merely about "colour".On the other, you say Feige strongly hinted to Kinberg he should change it from fire colour (because you think they'll use that in the MCU) to the now "cosmic" colour?
I think even Kinberg is thankful that X-men are owned by Disney now. It has nothing to do about "Kinberg's indecisiveness" and all about Kinberg's higher-ups at Fox (his original plans were torpedoed). I know you believe the studios have no control over projects given that you seem to think writers are at the top of the chain, so that conversation is pointless. From what I'm told, Kinberg has no problems accepting advice from Feige since they have had a friendly working relationship and Feige has been involved with overseeing certain aspects of this movie at certain stages (especially in the past few months for obvious reason). I think you should be more concerned with not jumbling up narratives on your own.So should we be mad at Feige or be thankful? Should we excuse Kinberg's indecisiveness because it isn't actually his fault. It's the various people around him, including Feigethat are pulling the rug from under him? I can't keep up with all the different narratives.
The long delay for this movie wasn't simply about rendering VFX for reshoots, but also re-rendering previously rendered sequences that had to be changed. Some of these changes are "allegedly" connected to future MCU plans (things they want to use for the MCU that they don't want appearing in this film). What exactly are you getting at?
That's not why the look of the Phoenix/cosmic force changed. They were getting friendly notes or "suggestions" to make certain changes by the (at the time) soon to be owner Disney (which they had no problems with). Things in the movie may have been altered because of that, so it will be interesting to see what ended up in the final edited theatrical cut (and what might they have kept secret). The backlash wasn't because of looking or sounding similar to X3, but rather things forced onto the movie by the studio (the brilliant executive ideas at Fox) that just didn't work (which I'm told even the studio later acknowledged after certain testing). What was cut out was nothing like X3 that I'm aware of, but it wasn't exciting either according to them.I haven’t read any spoilers for the original cut or the reshoot version but I have a feeling that originally it wasn’t a cosmic entity. They originally described it as a solar flare that Jean absorbs and hurls back into space.

You know if any X-Men movie is going to make me crawl out of the cave to comment, it would have to be this one. I was floating so high with anticipation after X2 and The Last Stand was the last straw lol
I watched all the garbage after that of course, but it wasn’t until DOFP that I actually felt some hope again. Apocalypse looked so promising, but it didn’t live up. I mean, yes, I got to see a true Phoenix in that movie, but that can’t save it.
Now, does this movie look like it will live up to my expectations or desires for what Dark Phoenix should be? Jesus Christ, no! But will it really be the Last Stand all over again? I hope not.
I’m always okay with liberties being taken as long as the spirit is honored. TLS honored nothing. This one at least appears to be taking some cues from the comic. Jean making the choice to sacrifice herself and being the one to pull the trigger is a key element that was missing the last time, so I’m hopeful it’s there this time.
Idk...it’s all a moot point now, I guess. But you know all of us old timers are still going to go watch it lol
So he's thankful to be losing a job? Are people really buying this?I think even Kinberg is thankful that X-men are owned by Disney now.
