Maybe I should've stuck with my initial guts that movies that get delayed as long as this one did end up being hot garbage at worst, and forgettable jumbles at best (I did not mention that last part last time).
Of course, there are the few exceptions of movies getting delayed and still end up being good.

There are just some things that can't be changed Xpecially something as iconic as the name of the X-Men. Like what are they gonna do, change it to X-People?

I wasn't happy when they changed the iconic codename/ alias of Carol Danvers to Capt. Marvel especially they just gave the Ms. Marvel to another character. So hopefully they won't mess with the name of the X-Men.

Of course X-Men is outdated like everything else born in 60s.
But i ever see the world 'men' in more like human, so, as woman, i don't see the problem.

FoX never delayed a X-Men movie until this one and The New Mutants. It was either they kept the date or moved up. You would think after films like Days of Future Past, Logan and Deadpool, they already figured out what to do. But of course people like Kinberg just never learned.

Have you even seen the reviews? The first review I watched from YouTube, Chris Stuckmann didn't know all the bts drama/reshoots before seeing the film and usually liked the X-Men movies including Apocalypse. Grace Randolph also liked Apocalypse iirc. You are really generalizing these critics. Mood.

I was expecting this movie to be better than New Mutants, with their 3 or 4 delays. If it's worse... Jesus. It might be a truly horror movie. Might not even need the reshoots to make it scary.

I'm not talking exclusively about Fox. An example of a meh level movie that got delayed in release is RoboCop (I enjoy it though), it was supposed to come out in 2013, but got out the year that followed. People weren't welcoming of the end result.

A movie that will probably be received as garbage after the delay is Sonic the Hedgehog, because it's a mess that will get delayed to fix the design, most people are confident it will be a mess either way.

This will be, I hope my final post related to the Fox X-Men. Well, it was a ride, wasn't it?

I was expecting another X-Men: The Last Stand with this in the sense of how I'd view it. I am one of those who defends TLS. I thought the good outweighed the bad in TLS, while the bad outweighed the good in Origins and Apocalypse. I've adjusted my views of Apocalypse over the last few years. So my best case scenario in positivity for the film was it would be a TLS for me in that regard.

I considered myself fairly positive of the film, but I wouldn't say blindly, because come on, this film (well somewhere between Apocalypse and DP) seemed to spawn this blindly, devoted, fanatical fanbase that always made me think... where were you all when the original films came out?

I considered myself positive even with a lot of warning signs. See what I said? I said I was positive, even though there were warning signs... lots and lots of warning signs. Number One being Simon Kinberg. I don't know how anyone, and I'd love to ask, but how could anyone not see the warning signs? Now, maybe a bit more specifically to here, this one goes into one side labeling another side "hater" "troll" or "fake news", if you tried to discuss warning signs of this franchise and leading into this film. Being on the positive, I still think the negative side had legit concerns because I shared many of them, to which I hoped I'd be proven wrong.

I was really hoping for at least a good conclusion to a franchise I've been following since 2000, of my all time favorite comic I've been a fan of since the early 90s.

Chris Stuckmann is a general fan of the Xmen films. I think he only gave bad marks to X3 and Origins .
He surprisingly gave Apocalypse an A- when many people decried it.
He doesnt keep up up to date on behind the scenes drama and even skips some trailers.

The fact that he gave DPH a "C" is telling imo.

I too have liked most of the X-film even though I can recognize their faults.
While I am bit down about the film's reviews, I will still see it for myself this weekend and make my own decision.
Actually this decade was generally decent for X-films, but even I think some fresh blood is needed for the next iteration of X films.

I want characters who have been super prominent to have a low profile in MCU X-men.
From 2000- 2019, Magnus has appeared in 8 films (7 main/supporting roles and 1 cameo).
To compare Joker has appeared 3 times in that same timeframe (4 if you count lego joker)

Mediocre comes from the latin word 'medius' meaning middle. I don't think 22 is a 'middle', it's poor. When you say mediocre, you should mean something is middling, or middle-of-the-road or average.
