There was a conversation in Magneto's prison cell where an unspoken implication was made that the pair knew of Stryker's projects in the past, including one with Wolverine. They didn't say that they had ever crossed paths with Logan, though...

Mags said something like, "So you think that by taking in the Wolverine..." in reference to Xavier trying to make up for letting Stryker's kid Jason down or some such.

Makes sense.I have to rewatch the old films to find possibles clues if maybe can be used in First Class.

I still dont see how that alludes to them knowing who Wolverine was prior to x1....

If anything it indicates they knew of/ran tino Stryker before and were aware of his experimanting on mutants, they see Wolverine come along he has metal claws and no clue how he got them, they just put two and two together, i doubt they heard of Wolverine, i mean Stryker experimented on alot of mutants.

I also don't think they ever alluded to knowing who Wolverine was. They knew Stryker experimented on mutants but they had no idea of Logan or the procedure done to him.

I would assume Hugh's cameo will be in Charles's future vision. He could even appear alongside Storm ( same technique used in X3 when actors were filmed separately )

Or He could play soldier killing Nazis in Germany and encountered young Erik !

The only Wolverine's cameo i will accept it's Logan in World War II's sequences. Maybe he can met young Xavier or young Magneto.

Singer Speaks:

At a recent press screening Singer, who is producing the X-Men: First Class, said a fed words about what we can expect from Matthew Vaughn's prequel, and says Wolverine will not be in the film..
"He's not in the movie, he's in the Wolverine movies."

A Fox spokesman has since told us: "X-Men hasn't started shooting in Georgia yet and if Hugh was in Georgia, it wasn't for this movie.

There are some photos on one of the celebrity sites (no idea which one) of Hugh trick-or-treating with his kids in NYC this weekend, so he definitely wasn't on the X-Men set.

If he does lie and I find out before the movies comes out...I won't bother with the film. I learned my lesson listening to Penn and Kinberg. But, I still have faith in Singer and Vaughn...they haven't done anything to ruin that and I doubt they will.

Compared to anything we've heard in the past two films, I have no doubt in Singer and Vaughn at all. They're good filmmakers, and they're smart and know what they are doing. All the signs are good so far. I hope we get some pictures soon. I want to see Fassbender.

That would be very encouraging if that's the case. I don't see why else they would act like Wolverine and the X-Men are so separate at this point, even if Wolverine has branched off into his own franchise.

I'll be happy if he is in cameo scene like Charles in Wolverine movie!

That's not really the same thing. A script change promise gives people back the incentive to see the film in theaters after losing it when reading a horrible script (though it really shouldn't, the story needs a good foundation and no amount of rewrites will fix that). A Wolverine cameo would probably lure in more fans and members of the general audience if they go through with it. So there is no real reason to lie that they aren't going to do something that would make more people happy.

The difference here is major though, this is Singer speaking, on X3 it was Rothman.
