Xbox One Games: The Real Meat Around The Bone

AW campaign is actually great... MP is standard BS CoD. I'm greatly interested in WWII again though. I'm tired of Modern and Future warfare.

I'm part of the 1% that really enjoys CoD campaign and zombies/survival, but the MP is annoying to me. I kinda thought AW would be different so I got it at launch, same thing despite the suits.

I have 0 interest in ever playing a WWII game again. The time period is so played out in every medium, whether we're talking about games, films, books, etc. It's an important part of history and all, but I'm pretty over playing/seeing/reading about it outside maybe some nonfiction stuff, memoirs and the like. I think the move to modern warfare was way more interesting for game series.

WW2 is like one of the few real world events where there were clear cut good guys and bad guys, the **** basically lends itself to fiction.

CoD 3 was average (still worth playing) but otherwise I've enjoyed all of them and would probably enjoy playing through them all again.

So, got some fantastic deals on ACIV and AC:U digital codes here. This wesbite looks a bit ghetto, but apparently it's been pretty vouched for as legit. It is a bit obtuse in how you get the code. You pay via Paypal or credit card, get an e-mail with a link, at link you give your phone number to get a verification code via text, and finally get the code. No idea why the hell it's so convoluted, but I can tell you I did get a code. Unfortunately, the Xbox Digital store online is down now (I'm not at my apartment now, so don't have access to my Xbone), but it all seems pretty good.

I went ahead and got ACIV. I may get Unity, but ACIV is the first AssCreed game I've gotten since the second ACII game, so I think that's enough Ass for now.

Announced yes. Being developed by Black Tusk Studios, Microsoft's new 1st party studio (the rights were previously owned by Epic Games). Haven't heard about when something might be revealed but I'm sure there's a possibility of something at E3. Not expecting this game till late 2016 though.

Many of them had gone a while back although ROd Ferguson (kind of no.2 after Cliff Blezinski) will be overseeing the new game. People Can Fly developed Gears of War Judgment (which was by far the least popular game in the series).

I've owned it for years although I never completed it. In fact I've owned maybe 90% of arcade or retail games that have become free on GWG on 360. At least the X1 GWG games are all new to me even if they aren't full retail.

I don't really qualify something that some random YouTube guy says on pure speculation and nothing else as an actual rumor. Also pretty sure he's mistaken about MS coming "very close" to buying Sega in the past. Never heard that before. There was talks of them entering into a partnership to design the Xbox, which resulted in several exclusive titles going into development for the OG Xbox, but this is the first I heard that MS was going to buy them.

I just googled. The guy's name was Joachim Kempin. Type him and Sega into google and you'll see a load of articles from 8 Feb 2013. Who knows the truth but that guy was making claims at least and he was a Senior Vice President at Microsoft.

That is interesting, but I found it doubtful to happen. This recent move, if anything, is Sega guarding themselves from being bought out.

But really, let's keep this thread about games. We can maybe continue this discussion elsewhere. I realize the topic indirectly deals with games, but this is more of a financial/business discussion.
