It'll be even more of a blast to see him onscreen again after 17 years.

More often than always. The way he was defeated in the first Sinister Six story was the most humiliating defeat any villain experienced in that issue with webs filling the tank both him and Spidey were in.

I wonder exactly what we're getting from Otto. I'm guessing Molina's comment was a flat out lie with how calmly he's said it. He's been through this before and likely knows the demeanor to keep.

That being said, I do pray he's more than a lapdog and we get to see his character get some of the more defined screentime among the villains. I'm assuming bullying will have Molina in the top 3 in terms of the villains anyway considering his status.

What are people saying Molina is lying about? That he's only pretending to be in NWH but he's really not? That would really be trolling people and setting them up for disappointment.

We have to realize these are the same people who

-Teased the Leader and never followed up
-Teased Mandarin after a fake out and are just following up 8 years later.
-Turned the best Live Action version of Quicksilver into a penis joke
-Faked Hulk's involvement in Infinity War

We CANNOT trust them. Not until the we see the trailer.

I just don't understand what an actor like Alfred Molina would have to gain from lying in an interview with one of the industry trades(!!) just to pull a gotcha. It makes no sense, I doubt people like him are actively invested in the discourse of what internet fans are expecting and more likely just knows his part and what he was brought back for.

Mainly how his character comes into the film. Their pulled in right before their deaths? Wouldn't they still be dead even so? There's just alot of questions and technically still no answers.

Because you haven't seen the movie yet, just read very basic plot leaks with no in-depth elaboration and severely lacking context.

It's one thing to deny something or someone being in the film because of an NDA, but it's another entirely to fabricate something else that has no logical reasoning. And that latter one is why I don't think Alfred Molina was lying. There would literally be no point to it.
