So far the only thing he's in after Justice League is another Snyder film. So it's not all that shocking.
I thought he was doing a TV show of some sort.

I need a HBO movie about the behind the scenes stuff of this….in the vein of Spotlight.
Right, my mistake. I didn't realise that was released already. I though for some reason it was years away. Was it a main role?I thought he was doing a TV show of some sort.
Did Ray drink the kool-aid or does he think protecting the Snyderverse will keep him a career?
Eh, @Spider-Fan with all due respect, thats one person's view of him, one person who im sure works for the studio no less. And thats fine, thats that person's opinion but countless people have had nothing but nice things to say about the man, including some of his former WB bosses. I think if Snyder had bad skeletons in his closet it would have came out last year.
I dont believe for one second Snyder told his fans to "attack" people online, I'm sorry I just do not. Do I believe he used the movement to his advantage to get WB's attention? Absolutely. Do I believe he probably sat by and let some of the wilder fans go crazy? Yes. But I do not for one second believe was this evil mastermind giving marching orders to crazy fanatic fans to personally harass people.
Dude can be nice to people, but so is Lex Luthor to plenty of people. People Iike this are nice to you so they can use you for their own means. Which he did here for YEARS. So yeah, I have no respect for this

Fair enough @Spider-Fan , agree to disagree, my friend.
I guess.... from my perspective I'm having a hard time seeing WB as the victim here. These big powerful movie studios are literally in the business of crushing people and we hear countless stories about how creatives were burned badly by Hollywood, some in worse ways than others. So, I dont get how a studio as big and powerful and resourceful as Warner Bros was "bullied" into anything and how they couldn't have just simply ended this movement themselves a long time ago and how Snyder could have been the "Lex Luthor" pulling all the strings and put them into a corner if they didnt wanna be.
We see countless examples of celebs and average people getting bullied on social media everyday. Twitter and such do nothing about it. So it isn't hard to believe at all. Dude pointed the mob a certain direction and then let them create chaos. Directors who had nothing to do with this were harassed, and Zack let them be attacked despite a dude like Wyngard asking for him to call it off. It is unreal how much of a scumbag he is here. Hollywood execs are not saints, but that isn't an excuse for this. 2 wrongs don't make a right. Basic play ground teaching.
I'm not sure how this can be that surprising for anyone. The guy has come off as condescending and egotistical to me for a long, long time. The way he ignored and waved off any criticism of his films or belittled those fans who disagreed with his dark, hyperviolent interpretation of these characters as naive manchildren living in their parents' basements, made it pretty clear to me a long time ago that Snyder is a pretty crappy person.Dude can be nice to people, but so is Lex Luthor to plenty of people. People Iike this are nice to you so they can use you for their own means. Which he did here for YEARS. So yeah, I have no respect for this
And to be clear if that whole Wyngard thing is true, then I absolutely believe Zack was wrong for that. People with nothing to do with the whole situation should not have been harassed the way they were. There shouldn't; have been harassment, period. I believe there were LOTS of good people in the movement who simply just wanted to get WB to release the movie, but there was absolutely a pocket of out of control fans who turned the thing into something toxic and sadly probably overshadowed the more altruistic people in the movement.
You know that, beyond what the article says?It is true.
You are correct. I've spoken in the past to people from the movement who are genuinely decent people who actually weren't a problem. They actually were the ones who donated to ant-suicide charities and put up that billboard during NYCC, and that's quite admirable. Some have even been tying to make their own motion comics based on the unused JL 2 and 3 outlines (one attempt even had Darkseid's voice actor involved), and that's perfectly ok! These supporters weren't the problem. The problem were the others who kept spamming those stupid hashtags, harassing WB and other people involved or not, and when confronted kept insisting that they were promised the director's cut/sequels it or some other BS to try and justify their actions. They seemed to be the majority and that's where I put my foot down. And Ray Fisher's no better. Putting aside his claims towards Whedon, his other accusations and his wishy-washy back-and-forth behavior and vagueness are put into question the more he keeps acting out like this. This isn't about accountability for him IMO. Dude just wants attention for a movie from nearly a decade ago.And to be clear if that whole Wyngard thing is true, then I absolutely believe Zack was wrong for that. Was JL 2&3 More of The Darkseid stuff, just tons more of it?You are correct. I've spoken in the past to people from the movement who are genuinely decent people who actually weren't a problem. As for if whether Zack or WB's the guilty party, I'll put it simply: THEY BOTH ARE. WB rushed JL into production to get that sweet, sweet Avengers money (probably why Whedon was later hired because of his Marvel association), when there were a few other important heroes like Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg who needed proper origins beforehand that they just shoved off for later solo movies and having it out by the end of 2017 over a stupid bonus was unnecessary. There's other mistakes you guys brought up, but that's the biggest for me. The only thing that wasn't their fault was the infamous "Mustache Incident", as that was Paramount being ridiculously stubborn (also, it was a full-on BEARD, not a mustache).
But Zack's not innocent here, either. WB never should've let him return to direct ANYTHING for DC unless he was under contract or something. BVS was a laughing stock amongst most people (NEVER forget the "Martha" thing; even Deadpool made fun of that stupidity) and an embarrassment for the company. Why he was kept around after that is baffling. The man does not get Superman or Batman as characters; anyone who thinks either hero should be angsty without any sense of optimism, kind-heartedness or hope and be allowed to kill just because they think it'd be cool doesn't understand WHY they have the "I don't kill bad guys" rule or what makes the characters appealing. Not only this, his outlines for JL 2 and 3 read like grimdark versions of Avengers Infinity War and ESPECIALLY Endgame, which makes me wonder if those really were what he came up with before 2017 or if he was trying to copycat Marvel directly. Regardless, they were terrible and I'm glad they're not happening. The kind of movies Zack makes just do not fit the main DCU. Not even Black Adam who DOES kill criminals, but is far more complex and complicated a character that Zack could probably handle without a pre-existing story like he did with Dawn of the Dead, 300 and Watchmen. I'll give Rebel Moon a chance, but NO, NEVER let him do anything with DC Comics or any kind of "under R-rated" content ever again. He can't handle it.
YES. And it was really bad with a ton of pointless deaths. Was JL 2&3 More of The Darkseid stuff, just tons more of it?
Glad that I did not have to sit through that.YES. And it was really bad with a ton of pointless deaths.
