Did you know him? That's cool. I see things like that from time to time in Sports, TV, and movies where I know someone.

I'll look at it purely from a football perspective. Randy is a better receiver than T.O. He's got superior speed, hands, and leaping ability while being maybe an inch taller. T.O. is better at YAC, going over the middle and blocking. Neither one runs the cleanest routes but both are explosive and dangerous. I just think that defenses fear the threat of Randy going deep more than anything T.O. is capable of.

Randy runs nearly perfect routes. Bradythrows the ball where Moss should be and uh;working out so far

Moss is not faster than T.O. this year; he just makesit for it with his hands. Moss is a bigger down field threat due to his body; he doesnt have to burn them because he is so tall; has such great hands and long arms. They shuold give him some reverse hand offs; he would get 20 yards a carry.

T.O. drops a lot of passes and has stiff hands; balls Moss catches like the 2 over the shoulder 50 yard bombs for tds Moss has could not be caught by T.O.; least not as much as he used to. T.O. is better across the middle because of fast and, more importantly, powerful he is. Good luck bringing him down on a solo tackle.

Moss is faster then T.O. is but T.O. has more intangibles which is why he's the better WR.

Moss is more consistent but TO can take over a game too. I'd give the edge to Moss but not by much.

T.O. is much more consistent, also for how bad T.O. has been he's never quit on his team, left the field early or taken plays off. T.O. is a bad apple, but that usually stems from not getting the ball.

Im an Eagles fan BTW

TO has literally destroyed teams that he has been on.

like skip bayless says...Team Obliterator....its only a matter of time in Dallas...

To Owens' credit, he's always busted his ass on the field. He may well actually be an ass when he feels neglected/not appreciated enough (which is ridiculous), but he's never spouted off some of the foolishness that Moss has (i.e., "I play when I want to play", "It's hard to be motivated to play well when the team is no good", etc.) No one's ever made mention of TO taking plays off, refusing to hustle downfield for a block or refusing to go over the middle for a pass. I'd say Moss is more dangerous (primarily as a deep threat), but TO is better overall because he has more versatility and a superior physicality to his game.

What it comes down to, as it usually does to receivers, is what combo would you rather take? Romo to TO or Brady to Moss? Its pretty evident so far which pair has done more.

The old T.O. almost came out on Monday night......:woot:

There was a countdown to TO's meltdown going on at one point on the scoreboard in the 4th quarter. Kind of like how in Miami theres a counter for how many more concussions Trent Green can have before he dies.

God i hate Skip Bayless. He actually thinks that USC is a top 3 team, even after the loss. He never admits when he is wrong, and half the time has the stupidest smirk on his face.

That kinda marginalizes it though or brings into play an entirely different question. A lot of the favor in that combo is predicated on the QB. Brady's won 3 Super Bowls and is a likely Hall of Famer. Romo might have somewhere around 16 starts.

Where in that frame of reference does a guy like Steve Smith, who has virtually destroyed defenses despite no second threat, constant double teams and an average (at best) QB, fit in? Delhomme isn't as good as either Brady or Romo, but Smith would certainly be in the discussion for Best WR. Should he get more consideration because his QB isn't up to snuff by comparison? Do you take away from how good Marvin Harrison is because he's got the most prolific QB of this generation under center? The QB certainly factors in what kind of performance a receiver is going to have, but I think the question of there's a larger degree of the WR's individuality that plays into at well.

I hear the over/under is 1.5. :csad:

Why was I not surprised to see Steve Young saying it's still perfectly fine for Green to continue playing, as if it even wasn't even a question? :whatever:
