2.5

I don't know why the Bucs are favored, even by less than a field goal, looks like the only game of any note this week is Moss v. T.O.

I have the Titans D on my fantasy team, just havent played them yet. KC hosed me last week so the Titans will get the nod against TB......

Titans will beat up on Tampa. Even with Crockett they won't be running anywhere consistently. Maybe a broken play here and there but Garcia will be roughed up bad and I wouldn't be shocked if Crockett gets knocked out of the game if not the season.

I see a lot of movement up and down the field...but not a ton of scoring....something like 21-17...considering the current line is 4.5....I see it being a field goal or less...

Agreed....it will be close, and a good game.

If you guys have troubles w/ the Bucs...I don't know, the role of little brother in the AFC South is being held by the Jags right now.:word:

V. Young 5 TD's 3INT's

Titans have no injuries and they already had their worst possible game of the year against the Falcons. Their defense (barring any injuries) will be in the top 3 at the end fo the year for sure. Their offense has yet to shine. It might look tough in the 1st half but by the end of the 3rd quarter Titans will be firmly in control. IMO>

The Titans scored 13 points at home against Atlanta. ATLANTA!

Now they come to Tampa, to face a team that hasn't allowed a point in the first half at home.

It'll be a defensive struggle, but this "beat up" nonsense is hysterical.

Like I said Titans had a bad game as they always do coming off a bye. Also they scored 20 pts. Last time I checked the defense was on the team. Young had a bad game too. Keep in mind they still won even with all of those turnovers. They didn't play like that in the prior 3 games.

"Beat up" is not nonsense and laugh all you want. I said very clearly it'll look tough for the 1st half but after the end of the 3rd quarter the Titans will be in control. Also the term "Beat up" doesn't only mean by score. They'll manhandle their offense and wear them out in the 2nd half and then pull away. Nobody has scored on the Titans in the 4th quarter yet and their a dominant running team. Plenty of Bucs will be limping off the field. Titans have no injuries.

Lastly, I can assure you Titans will score not only in the 1st half...but the 1st quarter in Tampa. Put this link in your sig.

So? Bad games happen. The Cowboys struggles against the Bills, the Colts struggled against the Texans. Are those teams as bad as they looked in those games and the opposing teams as good as they looked? No. They were just ugly games.

Pitt had an awful game 2 weeks ago and then they bounced right back. Titans offense was just coming together and then they had a bye week. That sucks. I wanted the bye in the middle or late part of the year.

Exactly. Just like the Bucs had a bad game last week in Indy.

^ It's not uncommon for a superior team to struggle if not lose to a bad team. Any given Sunday.

Jesus. With the way you talk, you better pray you're right. I've never seen such brash overconfidence.

*saves post*

Okay, with the impending match-up, let's pose this: T.O. or Randy? Who does everyone hate less? Me, I say Randy. T.O. just needs to go away.

It's one thing to say that you believe your team is better than the other team and you think they will win. It's another to say that your team will physically hurt the other team and injure the other team's players significantly.

Where'd the Pimp go? I figured he'd be hear as well with the **** talk.
Did the Guardians call him back?

Dunno. But to his credit, he's not one to yammer on with a load of smack. More often than not he just appears and gives an Anthony Amey-esque analysis of the game.

This is true.
He may talk some smack, but it's not as bad as some other posters who can't seem to stop jabbering on about their teams. Over, and over, and over, and over... :whatever:

I'll look at it purely from a football perspective. Randy is a better receiver than T.O. He's got superior speed, hands, and leaping ability while being maybe an inch taller. T.O. is better at YAC, going over the middle and blocking. Neither one runs the cleanest routes but both are explosive and dangerous. I just think that defenses fear the threat of Randy going deep more than anything T.O. is capable of.

I said they will wear them out and beat them up and players will be limping off the field for the Bucs. I never suggested dirty play or that the Titans would purposely injur anyone. Titans are just so much more powerful and dominant. If Haynesworth lands on you...you're done. And yes I hope the Titans physically pummel the bucs into submission through brute force and endurance.

Edit: Lastly in response to your other response...I am confident. The bucs are not in good shape right now and the Titans are 100% healthy. I figure the Titans just had their bad game and if they want that poor performance to be considered a fluke...they have to prove it. Could I be wrong? It's possible. Could the Bucs win? Of course. However I believe what I believe. I never said it would be a blow out, and I've never hoped for anyone to be severely injured. Bruised up & battered is fine though.

I don't think they'll pummel the Bucs but they should win.

I just read this, but one of the guys that picked off Vince Young the other week was a player who went to my high school.

I said a couple times it should be close in the 1st half. 2nd half the Titans will pull away because the Bucs will be worn out and beaten down. I'm not referring to points...just exhaustion when I say pummeled.
