I still think AFC South division race is NOT over by any means.

Titans fans are so out there-yall gots ta chill:whatever: , how bout leaving it at being competitive, YOU will NOT beat the leader and you still ain't ahead of Jax, I like J. Fisher too, but The South, however good the comp, is still owned by the best and this year it ain't even as close...relax

Colts still have some tough division games ahead not to mention they

Yea, tough division games @ HOME, Rob Buroinis (sp) whatevea!
He's becoming one of the best Titans on the team.

Johnson is one of the best players in the NFL. The Bengals would be fools to trade them.

Yellow Flags--Rick Gosselin, Dallas Morning News

This was a factoid in the Rick Gosselin column for today, Inside the 40. Pretty interesting:

"Yellow flags
The last referee the Baltimore Ravens want to see walk onto the field is Terry McAulay. In fact, he's the last referee any road team wants to see. McAulay and his crew have worked seven games this season and slapped the road team with 10 or more penalties in four of them. That's twice as many as any other crew. In fact, four officiating crews have not assessed 10 penalties on any team anywhere this season, home or road – the crews of Jerome Boger, Pete Morelli, John Parry and Jeff Triplette. McAulay has been assigned two Baltimore road games and has flagged the Ravens for double figures in penalties in both – a pair of Baltimore losses. The McAulay crew penalized Baltimore 11 times for 91 yards in a season-opening loss at Cincinnati and 10 times for 86 yards in last week's setback at Buffalo. The McAulay crew also worked the NFL's high-penalty game of the season – 15 for 132 yards against the Eagles at the Giants. Overall, McAulay has penalized the road team 61 times for 502 yards this season compared to only 35 penalties for 285 yards against the home teams."

I think thats bullcrap

I remember that goal line flag in that Ravens-Bengal games. That cost me 1st place in a pick em' I was in.

I don't think I have ever seen a year where there were a select few ELITE teams with everyone else just simply stinking up the joint... it reminds me of the early nineties with the Cowboys and 49ers... I think the Pats and Colts are the new Cowboys/49ers... heck... maybe even the Cowboys will end up losing four straight Superbowl games to AFC teams the way these things go. The only X-factors I can see in the AFC are the CHargers really... and I'd have to give it to the G-Men in the NFC... but its not quite a Bermuda triangle in either conference... but the NFC will be fun to watch. But untill San Diego proves to be legit... the AFC will be a snooze fest up until the AFC championship game.

If ricky williams wants back in the NFL...then The Hammer aka roger goodell(sp?) needs to make one condition......if ricky gets busted for weed again, he is out of the NFL for good....

Titans have #1 Rushing Defense in League now. :) THey're allowing less than 60 yards rushing per game this year.

Uh yeah we are ahead of Jax being we beat them in Jacksonville already and have a better divisional record. :)

But you can't make that many touchdowns, just 8 field goals.

Why did the Falcons release Grady Jackson?

FALCONS WHACK JACKSON

The Atlanta Falcons unexpectedly cut veteran defensive tackle Grady Jackson on Tuesday. The move came without comment from coach Bobby Petrino or G.M. Rich McKay, and it was announced in a one-sentence item on the team's web site.

The decision was made in the same year that Jackson filed -- and that the team settled -- an invasion of privacy and defamation lawsuit, which alleged that team officials shared in 2006 information with other franchises about his medical condition in an effort to drive down the market for his services.

The settlement included an extension of Jackson's contract, and Jackson possibly will pursue a grievance that seeks recovery of the full remaining value of the deal, arguing that the decision was influenced by a desire to retaliate against him for the fact that he filed suit. He also could pursue a new lawsuit claiming retaliation, but his individual rights in this regard likely will be overcome by the grievance procedures found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Jackson meanwhile is free to shop himself elsewhere, if/when he clears waivers. And despite any rumors (accurate or incorrect) regarding his health or his weight or his desire to play, the fact remains that big men with big butts and big bellies who can clog the line as well as they clog commodes will be able to find a job.

That's a quality D Tackle. He'll catch on somewhere.

My natural tendencies would lead me to say that I hope he signs with the Dolphins, but seriously, what would be the ****ing point? :(

DT isnt a problem for the rams anymore.
