I wouldn't say they blew the lead, but they certainly blew the game. That first drive, an 11 minute drive, is impressive by any standard. It showed that they could hang with the Colts defense and score on them. Carolina could've been in that game, but they weren't. In that sense, they blew it.

Yeah but again its only the first drive of the game. Manning hadn't even taken a snap yet. Any team can have a good drive.

There is a difference between a good drive, and a drive that makes a defense your *****. Their first drive was the latter. The point is, it proved the Panthers have the talent and ability to actually give the Colts a game, but they didn't and that is how they blew it.

When its the first drive of the game, and the opposing team has yet to have a snap on offense, and we are talking about the Colts and Manning here, it really doesn't matter much. Their only chance was if their defense could hold the Colts.

How many 11 minute drives do you expect in a game? The Panthers would have needed to show some consistency in sustaining drives against the Indy defense before they could have been considered to have blown anything. They obviously had some things goings for them on that first drive, but being able to be competitive means that you're capable of continuing to play well. The Colts D made adjustments after they got off the field and it was game over. That's not blowing the game. That's having some wrinkles the other team didn't anticipate and not jack to back it up after they got used to it.

The Panthers would have needed to have that sort of impact on defense as they did in their first offense drive to really have given the Colts a game. Because Manning will out score you if he has to, if the Colts defense isn't getting the job done. But they did. And that was it basically. Good teams make adjustments.

IMO losing a 3 or 6 point lead is not "blowing a lead" if you are up by 10 or more and the opponents catches up and keeps scoring....thats "blowing a lead"

lol titans wins with Vince only throwing for 42 yards .

Wow that game in London was laughable... half the stadium was empty by halftime... and the crowd lost interest in the second quarter... what a bore... way to showcase the stinking Dolphins Goodell... I think I have changed my mind on this... American football has no business playing games overseas... its just not gonna work.

the schedule gets written months before the season starts, I didnt think the NFL thought the dolphins would suck this hard.....agreed though i dont mind preseason games overseas, but thats about it

ffs marshawn lynch is injured :(

lol san diago's points were scored by both Antonio's

Why does it seem like no one expects Vrabel to be an endzone threat? They should know by now, yet he is wide open again.

congrats to brady he has just tied his career high for tds ( 28 ) , OH and its only week 8

lol

Good God, Brady just faked the spike and hit Moss for a TD. The crazy thing is, I don't think the Redskins were fooled by the fake. It just didn't matter.

Washington is 4-2, a solid NFC club.

....And New England is beating them down like they stole a child's teddy bear.

Proof that Bill Bellichick is full of Win: Randy Moss was just playing defense.
