Well, since the Superbowl winner is a two AFC team race-
Somebody gonna have to bear the burden of getting sized for an NFC Championship ring.

I never bought Romo, so my NFC alligence is going to stay w/ the cagey vertern.

The NFC is a crapshoot.

Not as much as in past years, and then more so.

There will be some 10 win teams going into the postseason, yet there may be 3 or 4 of them.

Look at the bottom rung of the NFL, is it concievable that MIA, STL, or N.O. DON"T win anymore games?

The fact that people have GB over Dallas in some power rankings is a joke... GB is only number two because of the record.. I think the Giants and SKins (on their better days) are way better... heck even the Eagles are more dangerous... GB doesn't belong in a conversation with the elite in the NFC until the Cowboys start losing to mediocre teams... which has yet to happen. That said... if Dallas doesn't win this conference there needs to be an investigation.

ANYBODY HEARD THIS CRAP!!!????????? :cmad: :cmad:

Goodell says NFL to look into playing Super Bowl in London

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- A future Super Bowl champion may someday be crowned overseas in a game witnessed predominantly by a foreign audience, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said.
"There's a great deal of interest in holding a Super Bowl in London," Goodell told reporters Monday. "So we'll be looking at that."
The commissioner said London's new Wembley Stadium would make a great candidate for pro football's biggest matchup, given the enthusiasm overseas for the game.
The NFL has been expanding its overseas presence for years by televising games around the world. It's held preseason games in numerous countries in Europe, Asia, Mexico and Canada, and in 2005, the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers played the first regular-season match outside the United States.
The game at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City drew the league's largest crowd to date, 103,467.
On Oct. 28, Wembley will host the first regular-season NFL game outside North America. It took just 90 minutes to sell the first 40,000 tickets for the game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants. Goodell said event organizers have sold 95,000 tickets in all.
Goodell spoke about the possibility of a British Super Bowl after a luncheon Monday in Scottsdale sponsored by the host committee for the 2008 Super Bowl in Arizona.

This is our game!!! This is millions of dollars that some American city will not get!! Plus NFL Europe had its chance! Enough already! Our jobs keeps going over seas and now our crown jewel of sporting events????
Corporations are selling us down the river. I believe in making money. But I believe in doing it with principle!! From the people who work cleaning the stadium to the hot dog vendor on the street, they all lose that money for that 2 weeks!! It's not right!! Keep our dollars here!

The average joe already can't get a ticket to the game! But at least he could hang around the events and tailgate! This is a slap in the face to the American football fan!!:cmad: :cmad: :cmad:

Bob Sanders already predicted this when he was in 8th grade using sand and a frog.

If the Bucs find a healthy body to carry the football, they can very well challenge for the NFC.

:woot: You homboi, are hilarious, World Champ satire, Titan smack, thinkin the Bucs are worth a damn. RIOT, keep it commin.

They're 4-2, atop the NFC South.

They have wins against a 3-2 and a 4-2 team.

They're 3-0 at home.

They have the highest rated quarterback in the NFC.

The league leader in tackles? Barret Ruud.

They're 5th in points allowed.

....In other words, you're bloody clueless.

Jeff Garcia is better than people give him credit for. the TB system favors his style of play.....

Oh I'm clued in!
I ain't raggin on your team, cause that ain't cool, BUT.
Bein the smartest hillbilliy in hillbilly town (NFC) isn't much of an accolade.
With the scraps they have they have been competitive. Garcia was awsome out of the pocket last week in the game against Tenn. last week.

You know, Tony Dungy has a new team now-they're quite good.

Whether or not the NFC can stand with the AFC wasn't the damn point. That's why I stated and only stated "they can challenge for the NFC." Were you too busy salivating over your Marvin Harrison lava lamp to notice?

Are you that big of a jerk that you can't go a single post without smothering people with your fondness for your 'world champs'? Honestly. What the hell did the Colts have to do with this conversation???

woof!, this thread could use more Arizona Cardinal talk

Some have affinity for teams by proximity, or by club personel personality, figured your were a Tony guy or lived in or around Tampa MUH BAD....seriously there's an 88 lava lamp somewhere.

Quit the hate on the NFC; Pats-Cowboys was far from a blowout despite score. If Romo doesnt throw that pic; the games tied/pats are DOWN into the 4th quarter.

I have much love for Tony Dungy, for what he did for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers organization and for the Tampa community, and for what he stands for as a Christian man.

But I'm a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And at last check, he's not their coach right now. I.E., I don't give a damn about "his team."

There. Problem solved.

Well you can say the same thing if Brady doesn't fumble the ball on the sack that leads to an easy defensive TD run.

The NFC have proven to be the minor leagues when compared to the AFC, but one of the few solid teams in the NFC are the Bucs.
