Your math is off. You divided the losses by the wins, when you should have divided the wins by the games.

And just looking at the number of wins vs. the number of losses for both should tell you who has the better win %

And thats why I majored in journalism. opps. My mistake. Sorry Slim :csad:

To all ACTIVE NFL pool participants: Submit me your picks VIA PRIVATE MESSAGING by Saturday morning.

I will need:
-Winner for AFC/NFC title games
-Scores for each game

well what is the percentage of the sand in TO's v****a as opposed to the tears in his eyes during his press conference??

I forgot this week. I'll send them anyway for ****s and giggles.

I don't take that dude seriously. There are more choice words I could call him in regards to football intelligence, but... oh well.

He thinks the Patriots spend tons of money to get the best. They bargain! How did they get Moss? A draft pick or two, not a huge signing.

I hope the Chargers beat the Patriots as a big "F-U" to the league.

Please. I told yall Maroney was a beast but yall dismissed it and Jags paid the price. I told yall Moss would own but yall dismissed it. Told yall wed go 16-0 from before week 1 but yall dismissed it. Told yall Santonio would own. Told yall Adrain "All day" Peterson would slow down big time. So I wouldn't expect it to start now.

"Choice words in football intelligence"

Fran thank goodness you aint a coach. Like most reporters, you ignore film and focus on simply numbers to determine whose playing good is bad. Like many, your under the false impressions that

-Joseph Addai is great and deserved a pro bowl spot
-Maroney sucks
-Reggie Bush is finished
-So is Vince Young
-Matt Leinart will be great
-Adrian Peterson will be good next season

You dont seem to actually watch the game or atleats understand what happens or hwo their gameplanned, if you did you notice Addai and Petersons enormous drops in productions and so many more...sorry dude, but I dont what you could call my football intelligence that I wouldn't like. The only point I really pushed this year was Bush would break out and he didn't but last I checked hell be back next season, so really lets hear these "choice words" for what I know about football.

As for the Owens point, hes been playing great football for over a decade, its the same way I meant for Jason Taylor. At some point they all want to win and New England - like it or not- is pretty damn good at doing that right now, so yes A LOT of people do want to be here.

You may not like me or the team I like, but I wanna know just what you getting at.

kind of meh.....its a little sad to watch a grown man weep so I figured it was appropriate...its not one I use all that much

Well, for tonight, yes.

But there are some instances where it's okay:
-Pistons losing game 7 of the 2005 NBA Finals
-Rams losing the 2002 Super Bowl :csad:
-Winning a HUGE game (IE: MSU beating Penn State in '07 to clinch bowl berth.)

excel....you are now banned from using the word "yall"....and Moss didnt do any "owning" this weekend...with his 1 catch....and his press conference

The ONLY person out of your list that I said would bust was Bush. And he has so far.

Film? WTF? You completely ignored my thoughts of you thinking everyone would jump at the chance to be a Patriot.

I would agree that Vince Young is OVER...he is basically Culpepper 2.0....and that isnt a good thing

I said Moss would own this season before week 1 began, so i am gonna hope this response is a joke...

What thoughts? You said I was arrogant and wrong. Sorry dude, people at that age play for rings anmd New Englands the place to get them.

Those are all thoughts that are common but one I find WRONG. Young and Bush will have very prosperous careers, AD will not live up his hype next season, and Leinart is finished. Thats what I think.

Fran what did I ignore? One off game means he didnt produce the whole season? Otherwise what was the point of his comment?

Moss did his owning by drawing double coverage and opening up things in the middle and for Maroney. Like I said, watch film, dont just look at numbers before you discuss someones impact on a game.

I would agree that Vince Young is OVER...he is basically Culpepper 2.0....and that isnt a good thing

Dude, what I said was that those are what many people believe but they are wrong.

-Young got his team to the playoffs without any sort of playmaker at running back or wide reciever and a decent defense. Wait till he gets some talent.

-Addi and Peterson played like crap down the stretch; AD in particular once teams started to gameplan for him.

-Bush has talent. He didnt do what I thought he would do, but I expect him to be hungrier than ever season and we'll all be hearing "this is what a healthy reggie bush can do" ect. next year.

-Leinarts done. If he couldnt get it down with Larry Fitz and Boldin he wont ever be getting it done.

And many more.

I dont think Tennesee is a place any impact player would want to go.....any breakout talent they have is going to be homegrown

New England's dominace won't last forever. They're not going to win the Super Bowl every year. In fact they haven't even won it this season.

There he goes again... ignoring your post for the most part.

Fran your the one ignoring my posts; tell me where I am wrong? Support it with stuff other than "arrogance" :cwink: :cwink: :cwink:

Exactly.

There are dynasties in the NFL, but with every good dynasty comes a huge downfall.

Rams = greatest show on turf. Now = #2 draft pick

Cowboys = huge dynasty in early 90's Then early 2000's = Dave Campo

Of course not, but they havent had anything resembling a bad season since 2002 and it doesnt look like their on the decline. The Moss expirement was just too successful; Im not saying this as a Pats fan. Randy is the envy of all ringless veterans in the league right now.

We'll see, but I dont see how that is Vince Youngs fault. When QB is the only threat to ake it to the house on the ground you have a major problem. Nothing will ever be opened for anybody running the ball. When your best reciever is a career bench playing you have an even bigger one.

The Giants beat their biggest rival after going 0-2 against them during the season and eliminated Dallas. Before the NFL season, most people had them going 8-8 and missing the post season all together. Now they head to Lambeau Field to play one of the greatest ever in #4 and the Green Bay Packers to play for the NFC championship....so I am a happy man tonight

No doubt. There will be a time when someone other than Brady is lining up under center, when someone other than Bill is leading the charge, when watching Randy Moss will be painful as I think of how great he was back in 2007...but not yet. Not for a few years either, though losing our college drafter hurts. Brady, Maroney, Wilfork, Asante, ect...so many of our guys are home grown.
