Report: Garrett Ravens' 'primary target'

NFL sources tell the Dallas Morning News that Cowboys OC Jason Garrett is the "primary target" of Baltimore's head coaching search.

With Dallas out of the playoff race, Garrett and Cowboys assistant head coach Tony Sparano are free to join other clubs as long as they make upward movement. Things will heat up early this week. Garrett has already interviewed for the head coaching vacancies in Atlanta and Baltimore. Jan. 13 - 11:58 pm et

That entire Dallas staff is getting take apart:yay:

The Giants have won 2 Superbowls.

I had a feeling that the Giants had a good chance against the Cowboys, and will probably have a tougher time against the Packers and more so if they face the Patriots (while no one seems to even credit the Giants with giving the Patriots the hugest deficit of the season).

I don't think it's inconceivable for the Giants to win it all.

what i mean is the history doesn’t make the games more exciting, its close games... hard fought for games that are entertaining. nobody is thinking about the steelers wins from back in the day when they win a football game today... that was my point, when your post began to focus more on recent history as opposed to being a 'prolific franchise' you make more sense... and i agree with that. i was merely addressing history and its relationship to being prolific... unless you’re the yankees, but it isn’t like that in the NFL, mostly because no team statistically wins 1 out of every 4 championships.
Apparently not with that previous quote... I was wrong about the Giants in the pre merger era... football was an after though at that time in the country... I guess it counts for something... people remember Superbowls... (for about 10-15 years when being used to illustrate respect for a team)Giant fans will remember this little run they had in 07... but really no one else is going to remember if they don't win it. i barely remember their recent superbowl appearance... or their wins in the early 90's, or give a thought to the things the giants have done in the past... but that doesn’t mean i don’t think they are capable of capitalizing on opportunity and wrestling another win away from the favored team
but let’s say history does matter Toni, and we look at the team that has had the most success against the Pats this season and if you look at the end game scores, the Patriots - Giants game was the closest the patriots have been to loosing this entire 'perfect' season... they've won the last 9 road games in a row, and they have beaten the cowboys.... because the giants haven’t won the last two superbowls is more important than recent games when making predictions. Im not saying people should be calling this game for the giants... Greenbay is not invincible, to say no chance is ridiculous, and ...Careless. these teams are in the playoffs for a reason.

it’s hard to follow which history you are trying to attach this respect to... forgotten superbowls of the past, or this season’s momentum...??? i can agree that the patriots have some clout with the recent superbowl success but every other team in the NFL that the giants come up against do not have the pats record... and yet it is so easy to discount them in those games... no chance? this is all im illustrating, im not calling for respect... im just making an observation

yeah something isnt right between those two..Nor do i care..phillip rivers is a jerk....why are you yelling at everybody.f'n jerk

As a Eagles fan, seeing the Giants getting to the NFC championship game makes me feel optimistic about The Eagles chances next year.

I am so tempted to make this picture into an avatar just to mess with Cowboy fans.

"He's my Quarteback, my Quarterback man!!"

Dear God I fell down laughing when I saw this and since I live and D.C./NOVA and I am a huge Redskins/Raiders fan it just made their loss even more sweet.

And I do remember the Giants Superbowl Wins.

86-87 was pretty huge for NY, winning both the World Series (Mets) and the Superbowl (Giants).

90-91, was pretty vivid with me, with Jeff Hostetler replaced Phil Simms upset the 49ers and then gave the Bills another defeat in the Superbowl. I remember it was the Giants that took out Montana. :o

NY fans remember.

What exactly is wrong with Rivers? I don't understand his attitude at all, its like he feels the need to act like a unstable kid everytime he plays.

No clue, but its laughable when he yells and screams. I wouldn't take him seriously if I was on that team, and I think thats the same feeling LT has. Didn't LT comment on Rivers behavior earlier in the season?

Cowboys Offense-TM-Cowboys Jan. 14 - 9:58 am et

The New York Post hired Lynsey Nordstrom, a 21-year-old nanny and Jessica Simpson lookalike, to play Simpson at Texas Stadium Sunday.

Nordstrom dressed up like Simpson with a pink Tony Romo shirt and acted like her in the stands. "I knew we were going to win when I saw her. I'm dead serious!" said Anthony Triglia, of Staten Island. "You have to come to Green Bay!" Nordstrom was taken aback. "What's Green Bay?" she pondered.

I never said he did. :o I forgot that game was won only on field goals. :o

AS soon as Jerry finds out how much they are going to pay Jason, he can match it +.......so if Jason is going to up in money, then he'll stay with the Cowboys......if he's going to simply move to the head coaching position, then he'll look around. Jerry has the $$$$ to keep him.

But you like the Giants

Also, that picture of him tearing up in the sunglasses = :woot:

Yeah, and I like TO too. I'm getting a Giants jersey with "Owens" and "81" on the back soon

Yesterday was bittersweet :up::down:

Haha

I've been thinking about getting a Plaxico jersey... I've always liked the G-Men's gear.

I wish I could just get a blank Giants Jersey because I don't like picking just one player because I'd hate to be outdated. :csad: :o

Well... I have a Steve Yzerman jersey. I love it.

I consider it "retro" since he's retired, and he's one of the NHL's best players ever.

So if I get a Burress jersey and he retires, hey, it's old school! :o

Also, he came from a great college. So. Yeah.
