Randy Moss' attorney indicated that the woman requesting a restraining order against him injured a finger in their "consensual horseplay."

Moss isn't expected to face criminal charges, and doesn't have to appear in court for his January 28th hearing in Florida. He and the woman have known each other for 11 years, and the woman hasn't accused Randy of hitting her, but she reportedly got x-rays on her injured finger that came back negative. How she injured the finger is unknown, but "getting Randy" is starting to take on a whole new meaning.

ESPN.com is reporting that Jerry Jones gave Jason Garrett around $3 million to stay in Dallas.

That's a lot of money from an owner who has always questioned the value of coaches. Jones wasn't allowed to promise Garrett he'd be the team's next head coach, but the raise basically ensures that he will be.

The attorney for Rachelle Washington, the woman that filed a restraining order against Randy Moss, said that Moss first contacted Washington offering a six-figure settlement.

"For the past 11 years, Ms. Washington has cared deeply for Mr. Moss and has been there for him throughout all of his trials and tribulations," attorney David McGill said. "As the evidence will show, there is serious doubt that Mr. Moss is capable of recalling with clarity the exact details of what transpired that evening." A court hearing is scheduled for January 28.

Smart move by Garrett. Guy has only been an assistant coach a year, how the **** could anyone expect him to handle a mess of a team like the Falcons or Ravens? He may not have made it out with a job after a season or two.

Okay, aside from Romo, do you know what annoys the bejesus out of me? I just got this week's Sports Illustrated and just finished their coverage of the NFL Divisional Play-Offs...and do you know how many times they mentioned the Indianapolis Colts in their coverage of the Chargers vs. The Colts? Once. They mentioned the Patriots more times. How many times did they mention Peyton Manning or any other Colts player? Zero. Every other game's coverage had details of the game, where the opposition went wrong, etc. Not the Chargers win over the Colts. The sports media bias towards the Colts is ridiculous. Its as if they don't want to mention that the NFL poster boy lost a game...just that the Chargers won some miraculous upset against an unnamed team.

Wow Titans got Heimerdinger back. I'm glad they let Chow go because he did not use Young as he should have. He didn't have faith in him or something. I think he wanted Leinert and didn't know what to do with Young. Should be a better fit. I'm glad Heimerdinger is back.

Is Garrett really worth that kind of money? From what i saw in the fourth quarter of the playoff game from the Cowboy offensive play calling, i wouldn't even pay him half of that.
