Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (Big East Championship)

Florida vs. Alabama (SEC Championship) at the Georgia Dome

Nebraska vs. Texas (Big 12 Championship) at the UFO in Texas

Georgia Tech vs. Clemson (ACC Championship)

Give me Pitt, Florida, Nebraska and Tech.

As a Tennessee fan, its hard for me to say....but I'm for Alabama in this game.

Mainly because if Alabama wins, we will probably see this game again for the National Championship and I hate Texas with a passion.

If Florida wins, and Texas wins it will be Texas and Florida in the National Championship. The only team from Texas that I want this year in that game is TCU, and that just won't happen.

I'm upset that the Outback Bowl went with Auburn, but I'll get over it, looking to next year for a better Tennessee Christmas.


Damn, I hope that missed Extra point doesn't bite them in the ass later on.

Well, looks like I might just get old Texas OUT of the Natl. Championship game if Alabama keeps this up. Now all I need is Nebraska to help out, and its a go...or no go for Texas.

Florida's defense is getting manhandled today. Definitely looking bleak for them to win at this point. I'm kinda glad to see this. I don't like Alabama, but it's nice to see a little parity going on. I'm sure if they have another rematch in the years to come that Florida will be ultra-pumped up for it just like Bama was ultra-pumped today after losing the SEC championship game to Florida last year.

Tim "He'll be the Wildcat Guy on Sundays" Tebow is a bit emotional after a postgame interview.

And why are some people picking Texas to lose? Nebraska doesn't have that great of an offense and except for that stud of a lineman in Ndamukong Suh (maybe a top five pick in the NFL Draft), they have an okay defense.

BCS would have been a mess if Cinci lost the Pitt game. It wouldn't be fair not to give Cinn an At-Large with one loss. Bowl idiots probably would have taken Joe Pa over Kelly's team. I still think Cinci needs to jump TCU if Texas slips.

So, the Bearcats are likely to get Tebow and Brandon Spikes in there last collegiate game. My heart wants to believe Cincy has a shot, but I'm already starting to feel sorry for them.

The best GAME for the national title would be Alabama/TCU. But, stupid Texas will likely beat Nebraska.

In this format, the first two rounds would be at home sites, with the first round the week after Thanksgiving, then after a one-week break (in part to account for finals and in part to allow for schools to more easily make arrangements) the second round would be played on the week after the Heisman Trophy presentation. First round losers along with schools that failed to make the 32-team field would play in the lower tier bowls, with the higher-seeded first round losers getting the better of those bowl games. Second round losers would play in one of the top four non-BCS Bowl games: The two highest seeded second round losers would play in the Cotton Bowl, the next two highest would play in the Capital One Bowl, the two highest after that would play in the Chick-Fil-A (Peach) Bowl and the two lowest seeded second round losers would play in the Holiday Bowl. Each of those four bowl games, along with what would be the top Bowl games for first round losers (Gator, Outback, Liberty and Independence Bowls) would be in a rotation that would every few years play host to one of the two national semifinal games in addition to their regular bowl game.​

16 teams is a mess let alone 32 teams. It would make for a kickass December/January, but the regular season would be so diluted to nothing, that people will lose interest even where college football is religion. I don't even like 8 teams every year. The only teams that are deserving of it right now are TCU/Cinn/Tex/Alabama... maybe make an argument for Boise. A plus-one basically solves 75% of the problem.

I don't think he has it in the bag, but I will say that many do not like the idea of a QB again this year.

I would go with Ingram, but who knows.
