It's odd that the Sixers seem to have the Celtics' number as much as they do.
I at very least expected the game to be close like the Knicks game.
Oh, it affects the game, no doubt. But a good team should have enough weapons where one injury won't ruin their chances at winning games.Ehhh, I think a key injury does affect the game. For instance, there's a damn good chance Minnesota woulda beat OKC the other day had Rubio not torn his ACL. That s**t is important. Of course sometimes that s**t don't matter, like when the Bulls beat the s**t outta the Magic without D-Rose......not that that has anything to do with this convo.![]()
I'd say Iggy is a notch above the rest as far as overall skill level. The guy's a stat sheet stuffer. The Sixers are kinda deep.
I mean, they really have 7 starters counting Williams and Young. They're not particularly deep with bigs, though. And their other main problem is all 5 of those starting guards/forwards they have are all around the same skill level.
Im sick and tired of every time the Heat are losing, whoever's calling the game blames it on them "not being into it." Like it's impossible for them to lose if they're "serious."
No, they're into this game tonight, they're just getting handled right now, that's all. And knowing the Thunder's style of play, they might let the Heat back into it anyway.
The thing is 9/10 times, it's actually the reason. Tonight thought, they just got plain and simple outclassed.
One of the worst outings defensively from the Lakers all season. Not to mention Mike Brown, I hope he has some sort of explanation for that stunt he pulled, especially considering how much restraint Kobe showed all night, both offensively & with the lackluster D on display.
I don't know, seems to me any team with youth and size inside gives them problems. For a team with two of the most athletic players ever seen, they're oddly susceptible against uptempo teams that can equal their fastbreak

You pretty much keep Lebron out of the paint and make them play a half court offense, they're not going to do much.
There was no excuses why Lakers lose to a team that were blown out by Clippers just a day or so before, and at home, to boot. Plus benching Kobe when Memphis was still within reach is asinine. The coaching staff gets a D- for last night's loss for sure...the team obviously was not ready to play hard and it showed.
Let me ask you a question Darth since you are a Heat fan: Do you feel the Heat are overrated to a degree? Also, do you think they can win a ring this year with Spoelstra as their coach? Because I can't see them going all the way with him as their coach. It's not that he's a bad coach, I just don't think he's right for that team and he doesn't bring out the best in those guys.
I know these guys have been blowing people out all year but I can see the Bulls, Magic, and possibly even the Knicks beating them in the playoffs. It seems like if anyone can challenge James on both ends of the floor, he tends to disappear.
