Poeman, you still disagree with me about Melo? Im telling you the man has been back ever since Amare went down. He's the 2nd best pure scorer in the league IMO (and clutch), with an arsenal of moves, in the post & out, and thrives doing his own thing. Not trying to feed anyone else and certainly not trying to acquiesce to Lin.

Melo was looking for teammates if you saw he really did try to get others involved, but no one else CAN CREATE A SHOT FOR THEMSELVES...That is why Melo is a superstar and this is why superstars can separate themselves...Melo can score and is a matchup nightmare for teams.

Lin can create for himself, but he likes to dish the ball, Amare when down low where he plays above the rim can be a force...Amare played really well with Melo right before he went down. He could be a force out of the bench if hes back in time.

They got lucky.

One of those four missed free throws woulda won the game.....but they missed. Oh well. Get em Tuesday. :o

How is it luck when the Bulls blew the lead twice down the stretch? Once in the 4th and the other in OT.

When Iman was in the game, Rose was stuck on 21 Shump Street.

Should be a big game on Tuesday

They got lucky with the Rose free-throws in the sense that Chandler made a bonehead move fouling him when it wasn't necessary.

Boston gives them problems for some reason...But I dont think Shumpert played against Rondo the last two times.

I'm pretty sure he was hurt in the season opener and was out hurt the last game.

I think the Knicks can give the Heat a 6 game series atleast.

Without Amare and Lin, I think Heat will be able to double or even triple-team Melo, and I don't think Knicks have too many shooters to pick up the slack if Melo is trapped.

^ That is true but I just want to see a classic Knicks/Heat playoff series like we got from the 90s.

Agreed Daniel! I don't think it's so much that the Knicks are that good, I just don't think the Heat are as good as they are being prepped up to be. There is no way they'll beat Chicago or OKC in 7 games and I think Boston, NYK, and Orlando will give them serious match up problems.

If you can rebound off of Miami and not give them second or multiple chance shots you have a shot at challenging them in a 7 game series. Knicks would not win the series but would atleast win 2 games.

With Lin in, the Heat would pick up too many points off of turnovers for them to come back.

If you just play man to man with Miami and don't let them run, you can really beat them. It kills me when teams double team Wade and James and leave their 3 point shooters open. Notice Boston does not double team at all. I'd let Wade and LBJ score 80 points, all you need to do is score 81 and you'd win the game. And despite LBJ working out with Akeem in the summer, he still can't post up so put a guard on him to wear him down. If the Heat had a great coach*cough*Riley*cough* he'd adjust but Spo is a moron when it comes to adjustments.

And I think the Knicks are a great team with Lin, but if he comes back when they play Miami, I think would beat them because he's turnover prone.

Yeah with any team with a superstar or superstars let them go off and shutdown everybody esle.

Actually, in the games just before Lin got injured, he was able to keep his TO down, and he was getting better.

Yeah, it doesn't count until he does so in a playoff atmosphere.

He was playing less minutes as well, in terms of his TO being down.

Did anyone see ESPN First Take today? Jalen Rose is the biggest idiot when it comes to sports reporting. He's now saying that analysts shouldn't be allowed to call players scrubs and criticize them if they never played pro ball. WTF is he talking about?!! I do think Skip Bayless goes overboard sometimes but it's his job to call it how he "sees" it because a lot of time, a lot of people do see it that way. Man, today's athletes are nothing but overpaid babies!!! Jalen Rose shouldn't even have a job at ESPN because he sucks and he always says something positive about players no matter how much they suck, how bad the plays they are making, and how bad the team is. It's all good because he doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Get the freak off of ESPN if you can't call it like you see it! :argh:

Watching it as well. Chris Carter was making some reasonable points against Skip.

My God Jalen Rose is one monotone robotic idiot.
