Yea I think Clippers management got cold feet when stern and the Lakers started talking again about CP3...anyways I hope Gordon would consider signing us again next season. Although I doubt that would happen...

thanks for reminding us about the game...i got it dvr'd tonight. should be fun at least at the start

I'm so glad to finally be watching some live NBA games again. I checked out the Bulls game on Friday night and I'm actually looking forward to some more preseason games.

BTW - That picture of the traded Clipper players is pretty damn funny. They couldn't look more ticked.

Times are sure changing when your upset gettting traded from the Clippers and excited being traded to the Clippers!!! And I'm a Clipper fan! :D

It has taken a loooong time, but things might be finally turning around. The Clippers are slowly becoming a destination spot.

How did you become a fan of the Clippers?

:hehe:

I think I can understand the Clippers fan thing. I mean, I live in NY which is Yankees territory, but we still come across those mob of Mets fans who hate the Yankees so much that they choose to root for the Mets.

Cubs fans are born with that sickness. No one would willingly join that bunch ... although a gag and whip can be very persuasive ... I hear ...

My goodness! DeAndre Jordan just killed Gasol and Bynum!!!

Yeah he had a few dunks on top of that too, reason why those two should already be somewhere in Orlando trying to find a house.

I can't believe I made a point to watch a Clippers preseason game... but that was entertaining.

Bulls new backcourt looking good tonight. I'm enjoying Rip so far.

Yeah, already I take back what I said. Rip is gonna fit in just fine if he keeps playing the way he played tonight. The whole damn team looked 10'000 X better.

The Ball movement tonight was so smooth! It seemed so much easier for them to score!

I am loving this new looking Bulls team!

Can't see pre-season, but Rip on paper makes sense.

You don't want a backcourt partner who's going to be keeping the ball out of Rose's hands all the time. You'd rather someone who would accompany him, than score at the expense of him.

Rip's probably the most active guy moving off of screens that the NBA has ever had. That and his mid range J (possibly the best in the NBA as well...) are the backbone of his production.

It means the ways that he's a threat leave no negative impact on your team.

I liked that Rip was an upgrade, but I thought the Bulls really needed someone that would be able to create his own offense.

After watching the game last night, I may have been wrong. Rip looked like a perfect fit. Can't wait to see the real games in a couple of days.

Just listened to the press conference announcing that Derrick Rose has signed a contract extension. Glad to hear he won't be gong anywhere for awhile. He definitely seems to be one of the good guys in the NBA.

Kobe with torn wrist ligaments, he is day to day

Well, yeah. His wife just left him. He's using muscles he didn't have to before...

Well he's playing in Chicago. It's not like he was playing for Memphis or Milwaukee.

They are NBA purgatory.

You have to have already done something very wrong in your life to wind up in those places... but it's not as bad as hell because you know that there's an "end" to it.

For example - little known fact: Shareef Abdur-Rahim used to rape kittens.

Sure, the likelihood that he would go anywhere else was slim, but still, as a Bulls fan I'm glad it's official.
