aww PJ, don't worry about making mistakes like that. It's okay to make those kind of mistakes. so don't feel bad.

For Wolverine, surely.I thought someone said he's making similar salaries with the next Wolverine film and Days Of Future Past. If that's true, then my coined term "continues to make" falls into play. If he's making less than $20M for the next two films then nevermind my comment.
I hope this announcement is Fox coming out with a coherent plan for this franchise. A whole batch of connected movies that build to an"event" DOFP/Avengers style blockbuster. Let the public know that they finally know what they're doing. A FC3, X4, X-spinoff, FF, that all build up to something big. Its the same formula Marvel went with and look how that turned out for them.
I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't an announcement. This is Millar we're talking about. LOL
The thing that many users arent taking into account is:
If The Wolverine is a good success, Fox could even do a third film, the same with First Class, so....
do you really think Fox will do a reboot in the next five years and most important, to sign another actor to play Wolverine while Hugh Jackman is still hot?
No way! lol
As I said, we wont get a reboot on this decade. So Fox would still have 6 years to do more sequels with current casts.
No, please, lolWe probably won't get a reboot this decade, but we will get one eventually. Unless you want not just Xavier but all the cast in wheelchairs... lol
One thing I don't see anyone mentioning is that an adult Franklin Richards was part of the DoFP story. Franklin being the child of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman from the Fantastic Four. That said, here's how I see the DoFP movie playing out...
The events of the film will result in a modified timeline/reality. Some of the same FC cast will remain while some of the original trilogy characters will be recast and be part of the team. A whole new timeline that takes the best of both worlds. Think the Star Trek reboot. This way, we can get Cyclops, Beast, Jean Grey, and Iceman on one team.
For those wondering why there needs to be a reboot, here's a few lines of thought. The original trilogy basically used up all the main X-Men characters, many of whom were completely squandered. This pigeon-holed First Class, since it tried to follow the same continuity, into using some lackluster characters (all of Magneto's team). Even if they jump ahead a decade, there aren't many major characters they can play with who weren't already used in the original trilogy. Basically, they're running out of the A-list X-Men. A reboot (or call it whatever you want) is needed to allow them to continue making X-Men films with the major characters most people associate with the property.
They could make an X-Men 4 and try to focus on some of the younger characters, like Colossus and Kitty Pryde who weren't given much focus in the previous films. Maybe get Angel in there too. But major players like Cyclops and Jean Grey are missing. There will have to be a reboot at some point, whether it's 5 or 10 years down the road. A storyline involving time travel and alternate dimensions seems like a mighty fine way of shifting the property into a more streamlined story with the characters most people want to see. Would you rather use the instrument at hand (the time-traveling) to "fix" the quagmire, or years down the road, confuse audiences with an actual reboot film? Think the recent Star Trek movie. It used time travel to reboot continuity with a whole new cast.
I wouldn't be surprised if the end of DoFP results in a revised, all-star X-Men team in a new continuity. I also wouldn't be surprised if an end-credits scene hints at the Fantastic Four reboot. We met Franklin Richards during the future timeline. The end credits scene could should Reed Richards meeting Susan Storm, hinting at their eventual pairing to give birth to Franklin. A tease at the upcoming FF reboot.
Ironically, I don't think this will be the big reveal Fox has coming up. They'll want to surprise people with the ending of DoFP. I think their reveal will deal with casting/details for the FF reboot.
