What people should look to is the Animated Series. Isn't it interesting that Joker is the only major villain that isn't introduced with an origin episode? He's just there at the beginning of the series. A few hints here and there, but no origin. He doesn't need one. Everyone (even casual viewers) has some idea of the chemical bath story, especially thanks to B89.

It's a kids show.

And come 2008 most people won't remember 89 all too readily.

That part's not actually true. the press release said that the 4 IMAX scenes will fill the screen, changing the aspect ration to 4:3.

I meant when it goes to regular theatres it will be reformatted to fit with the rest of the movie. When the film is changed to imax, the regular film will be reformatted to 4:3, so in each circumstance, there is reformatting taking place.

What burn like stains? I saw areas that had less make-up coverage. The areas were dark because they were in shadow.

Look at the teaser joker pic from the viral site, look under his mouth but to the corners(not right under it) were there are darkened areas like stains of some sort and that's not shadow. Its like the same kinda stains he has on the right side of his face.

in hte pic is a lot of photoshop. so i it hard to know what is real and what not.

I don't see any evidence of photoshopped elements in the picture. I'm sure it's just the extremely harsh light that is making the texture of his face next to invisible.

Yeah, it kinda is. At least, having permantly white skin and green hair ast he result of an accident is an essential detail to the character. And I really cant think of any other way he'd come to look like that without falling into chemicals.

Of course, you could always change up how he falls into the chemicals. I could live with that. I liked the idea a while back that he was a gang member who was betrayed, shot, and dumped into a chemical tank.
