5.21 Oracle-Discussion Thread(Spoilers)

Nah its too soon for Lex to be that evil. Its one thing for him to be manipulating everyone around him. But trying to destroy the world? He's not there yet. Remember, Lex thinks of himself as a hero. So him volunteering to be Zod's vessel or something wouldn't make sense for his character.

This is the 3rd time I've tried to respond to this. I'll give it another go.

They've said that Lex and Clark become mortal enemies after this finale, so that means Lex has to do something pretty bad. If he's not himself then Clark would just have to let it go. Lex could agree to be Zod in order to regain more power.

You make a good point..

Was there some spoiler for Lex channeling Zod? Or is that just someone's guess based on that trailer?

I'm not sure I like the Zod channeling much, if it takes away from Lex's evil doing killing what little is left of Clark's good will toward Lex...

I'm pretty sure its fan speculation based on what Aussiello said about Zod and Jor-el coming but they wont be who you think they are.

Ewww. So maybe it is like a giant amniotic sac with Lex being "reborn" as Zod.

Ew.

Yes, as a few people have already said, it's Neo-ish.

Where's your Mercy review? How come the guys over at Kryptonsite take so long to put up your reviews?

They can become mortal enemies without having Lex wanting to take over the world. I'm sorry but it'd be ridiculous if all of a sudden the Lex we know right now did that. They should save that sort of attitude for Season 6 or 7. The transformation has to continue to be gradual.

But if Zod needs to be channeled into a person, then what would have happened in Solitude if he had got free

I thought it was obvious from the beginning, if there was some new guest star to play Zod we would have known by now don't you think?

Lion-el channels Jor-El
Lex channels Zod

Jor-El vs Zod - FIGHT!

Clark vs Brainiac - FIGHT!

Clark will win and Zod will win

Clark vs Zod - Final Battle - FIGHT!

:D
Wow, if this truly does happen, what an amazing 2 episodes we have coming up!! Does this mean, though, that by speculating Zod beats Lion-el, that Lionel dies?? I know at this point it's speculation, but what do you think?

I wouldnt put it past Lex though to want to be all powerful. We saw in Lexmas that he thinks the power will buy him happiness and everything that he has always wanted.

In Mercy, Lionel also said something about Lex wanting to be all powerful.

Give him the power and take it away from him, and we're going to see a much more evil Lex next season.

Will Lana still think he's a nice guy then?

Well in my opinion Lionel is still the same old Lionel and he was just giving Martha a bull**** reason for what he did.

Well, that's why it's called tragedy.

To be fair on Lex's side Lex is not really Lex its Zod in him. I HATE that fact. I love the idea of Lex getting Super Powers. But the fact that most of the damage Lex will do its really Zod & not Lex & Clark should not hate Lex for it because Lex is not in full control of himself. Zod in Lex is like Clark & Red K Clark. Clark will end up hating Lex for things Lex never had full control what he ends up doing. Which sucks. If Lex becomes Zod that ruins it for me. Id rather them become Enemies on their own. But knowing Clark when all is said & done he wont give a damn that Lex was being controlled by Zod. Yet Clark would expect People to give a damn when after he comes back to normal from being under the influence of Red K. Lionel has Jor El in him & in the end all Jor El wants to do is protect his son & keep his identity safe. Lex becoming Zod just totally ruins things for me in terms of Clark & Lex becoming Enemies.

What makes you think that Lex won't like being controlled by Zod? Take Vegeta being controlled by Babidi for example or wotever his name was, he loved it, he wanted to fight Goku, but Vegeta was stronger than Babidi's magic, he still was able to control himself, maybe Lex will too.

I just think they dont need Zod in Lex to further make Clark & Lex enemies. They already have plenty to work with & I do know that if we do not get THE BEST KICK ASS EX BEST FRIEND VS EX BEST FRIEND Super Battle before the Show is over I will be ticked.

They already are enemies, Clark doesn't call him a friend anymore. Lex is strong, he's getting super powers, he'll love it, if Zod inhabits him, he'll love that too, he wants the world, and with superpowers and Zod he can get it.

Zod is going to be in Lex's body, when is this epsiode going to come on?

Lex shall be reborn...arise from the sac...still bald but with a goetee.

:D
