wait..so could someone explain to me why Fine injected Lex with the vaccine? What was the point? (I was in the bathroom) :O

My money is on making him a vessel for Zod. He only needs one. Which would be terrible.

It would be something the "real" Lois would say. So no problem.
"Real" Lois? Whatever.

I disagree. THIS Lois is tough and has a mouth on her, but she has never been shown to be a *****y or mean person, especially to Lana. (Her goofing around with Clark doesn't count.) It just seemed like a very forced and off the wall line of dialogue for her to say.

You just made my point. This Lois is a little less like the Lois of film and comic fame. She can have a mouth on her. Not in that tough sort of way, but more in the "spit some vemon" kind of way.

They seemed to be leaning more towards the more recongized Lois now.

Talk about a lack of communication. Not blaming you, but I think one of us is speaking in tongues or something. :)

That is very possible. :O

But i understand what you are saying, just that i fit more of the version of Lois i have in my head. Hence i defend even when it doesn't really match up with how she has already been portrayed on the show.

I feel that way around here sometimes too.:O

Did you really feel like she was talking about herself as compared to Lana?

I just didn't read it that way. I thought she was just trying to soothe his aching heart by telling him that maybe there's something more that hadn't occured to him yet. I didn't take that as her dissing Lana. She is his first love after all he really doesn't even know what else is out there.

Well, except for a shape shifter, a psycho krypto teleporter, and a chick with a magical hypnotic amulet. He's scoring pretty low on the normal relationship scale.

Nice to know my posts are read. ;)

I thought it was a definite diss.. and rather uncharacteristic for Lois considering she'd just spent 3 hours having a girlfriend chat with Lana. It just didn't seem like something Lois would say.. :(

It didnt? That seemed like total Lois to me, of course until Chloe (Lois Lite) had to come in and kill the moment :(

I didnt think it was a shot at Lana either, merely Lois giving clark encouragement that "someone better could come along".

Then again I was hoping she'd smack Lana around in the Talon when she confronted her about Lex, but alas that didnt happen

Killer episode.

Next week's is gonna be dandy.

You're right, Kiki.. She wasn't talking about herself. I was wrong about that.
Still.. a stupid line though.

Great episode and the preview for the next episode makes it look like Lex may have his body taken over by ZOD.

Sorry, missed a few juicy posts in a row there.

Maybe it wasn't a diss so much as it was giving Clark some hope for a happy relationship.

I've got 4 squealing teenage girls in the family room watching this episode right now.

It's sooo funny to hear their comments. :D

Did anyone catch the Alex Ross reference in the Jonathan/Martha scene;

AlexRossSupdesk.jpg

Maybe if it was Good Jonathan, but not since it was Bad Jonathan.

I don't know if a dramatically lit man sitting in a chair automatically means Alex Ross ;)

I did like this episode. It almost thrilled me to see Clark, Chloe and Lionel talking about things of the Kryptonian sort...one of those moments where you see that, yes indeed, things DO change on this show.

But why would he have to give Lex powers? If Zod possessed Lex wouldnt the powers automatically come with it like it did when Jor-El took over Lionel?

Oh and did anyone else think that Schneider did a great job playing evil Jonathan?

Yeah oddly enough I also found myself "rooting" for Lionel almost. It was neat to see him in that kind of light.

I missed this episode but I'm about check it out now (Watching the Lakers choke in the playoffs despite 50 points>>>>>> Lex with powers)

But it seems like this was a good one

Missed it, any good?

Did they let Lois diss Lana by inferring Lana was a bicycle and Lois was a Harley, or did I not take that analogy in right?

Only the small town bicycle that everybody has riden!

I have to say I really enjoyed this ep. . . .

Lex still thinks he's saving the world and doing all kinds of good. But not thinking through the ramifications. BTW is he now Lexiac?

Glover, O'Toole and Schneider really played out well.

The story was compelling. Wish they had more like this prior to season's end.

The only things that I didnt enjoy were minor and nit picky . . . .

Chloe still knows way too much.

If they say "my secret" when they're in private again I'm gonna get a gun with kryptonite bullets walk my ass to the Talon and just start shooting. It's almost as bad as Bro at this point

Lois added a nice touch at the end but I'm still bothered by the fact that she's seeing him sans glasses, and having heart felt conversations. I know show about alien w/ super powers but there are still some triggers that make suspension a problem

Still for me this ep

8 out of 10 and I'm really looking forward to the second half.
