That was sarcasm.
The point was, it doesn't MATTER if you saw him in person, because that's no more authentic an experience than a video recording is, since it's actually MEANT to be viewed as a video recording. This is for a film, not a live performance. Saying "I know what it sounds like more than you do because I heard it in person" doesn't make sense.
What it will "sound like" means what it sounds like in the film. That's what matters, and that's what we care about.
I don't pick up on sarcasm. In a poor video recording where the phone or whatever is not meant to handle such loud sound, you don't hear the subtleties of someone speaking over a loud speaker. The rise and fall and emphases in his speech are not english. They are from farther east. This makes sense considering Bane's apparently european convicts backstory.
