7.09 - Gemini - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Don't hurt him, Rene. He didn't know any better. :wow: :oldrazz:
Hee!
I'm a lover, not a fighter.
Btw, did you miss my joke (aimed squarely at YOU) in the Worst Eps thread? :(

But anyway, I don't hate Lana that much anymore, it's an early days of fandom reflex... She barely even gets storylines now and I know how painful it is for fans.

Moving on...

Lois might actually redeem herself in my book . If this episode is as good as the trailer looks .

I don't know if I think she needs to totally redeem herself, but I have been saying for a while that this arc better have one hell of a payoff for her.

Because he's her boss? work relationships never turn out well, except for lois and clark in the future though.

This episodes going to be fun. Can't wait to see who the returning villian will be.:hyper:

Yeah the only way Lois could redeem herself in my book would be if she quit the Planet because she realized she is only there for her T&A, but then, I'm a Chloe fan, we have problems with Lois overall... :p

you're not one of those chlois fanatics, who think Lois will die and Chloe will take up her name, are you?

She wont survive long around here if she is. :ninja:

Sorry Val.... :O

..... welcome to the Hype. :yay:

I don't get the idea that Lois needs to "redeem" herself for anything. She's an adult making an adult decision. Her choice to continue seeing Grant is a choice of her heart more than her head perhaps, but I believe there are other characters on this show who have made that same decision on occasion.

Lois is a young, single woman learning her way in the world. Grant may be a mistake career-wise, but that's something she's aware of and even confronted him about when she asked him why he hired her. He proved to her that he hired her for her drive and tenacity, which I was glad to see.

I guess I'm just a little put out to see her getting branded with a scarlet "A" just because she's dating another consenting adult. Unwise, perhaps, but immoral or illegal? No.

No, I'm not. I'm happy with Chloe being Chloe as long as she doesn't get screwed over, I think there is enough space for the two of them, they just need to quit messing up with Chloe to get Lois where they want.

I'm glad you guys said something first, being fairly new here myself I didn't think it was my place to ask who left the door unlocked.:yay:

okay, that's cool. I've been on sites where people were strong believers of the chlois theory and it was driving me insane. I left and I love it here because people are rational.

Yeah, I agree, fandom can be too much sometimes for me too, but I believe I'm entitled to my opinion like everyone else is. Just because I don't like Lois or Lana, doesn't mean I don't have the right to state my opinions and be respected like I respect Lana and Lois fans. :)

It all comes down to maturity.

I was somewhat amused by everyone's comments, but I wasnt quite sure what to say, so thank you for saying it for me. :yay:

Lois, in my eyes, hasnt done anything wrong. When you fall for someone, you just fall for them. If its a mistake then she'll learn and grow from that.

I don't think she has done anything wrong I just hope that something cool comes out of this for her.

I just have a feeling she will get in over her head, someone will have to save her, she won't even get a story out of it all and her entire arc with Grant will have been pointless. I guess what I'm saying is, they don't really seem to want to let her have a 'moment', if you know what I mean.

Someone hold me back. Please?

;)
Don't hold back. I love it when you don't. It's entertaining to read.

So I'm guessing after that episode Lois will become the newest villain on the show. I mean according to people on K-site and TWOP that's how it starts. Pointing a gun at someone and hitting someone over the head possibly leading to injury or death is a sure fire way to start off a villain career. After all that's how Lana became the villain of the show. :whatever:

How I wish the bomb would go off and Chloe would be gone for good. *sigh* But she could probably heal herself by some freaking miracle. Well if it shuts her up for a while so she can't put the third degree on someone for a change that would be good enough for me.

The trailer bored the hell out of me. But it's the early one to remind people Smallville will be on. I expect the real deal next week.
