8.15 - Infamous - Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Nah he won't fly. He will use the high wind's speed & it will look like he is flying. Like in the tornado

That...or Jonn will swoop in and save both of them :o

lol well what're you gonna do...:oldrazz:

I have to say that the best part of this season, for me, has been seeing the first ever live action Doomsday. That along makes the rest of the season worth it.

And the suit looks good. I was afraid it would look like crap, but he really looks like what I'd expect Doomsday to look like in live action.

This was a very good episode. I knew that he was going to go back in time and change everything. I also had completely forgot about the Legion ring. The previews are only meant to get you excited. I'm pretty sure Clark isn't going to fly.

Yeah, it doesn't look dumbed down either...it's 100% pure Doomsday as far as I'm concerned (even though we still haven't been given the best look at his face).

Also I really enjoyed the show's representation of Toyman

Now instead of Clark and Lana angsty crap, we have Clois angst, same old BS. This show recycles over and over the same angles, S9 is going to get old soon.
Chloe is so biting the dust in the finale (the whole consequences of messing with time), she was going to die when Doomsday attacked her in the car, so she's destined to die anyway, time will fix it.

Lois is the new Lana in terms of Clarks secret

Not really, Lois doesn't have a clue, so she won't be badgering him about it. I swear if Clark had showed up at the coffee place, people would have been *****ing he was moving on to quickly after Lana.

Great episode! Definately MUCH better than the last 2 episodes!:woot:

Things I loved:

-All the Clois scenes, especially that barn scene!

-Linda Lake (She was actually more entertaining in this episode than "Hydro".)

-The crowd's reaction to Clark (That old guy's little speech to Clark was touching and I loved the forshadowing of the Superman fame.)

-Lois Lane in general (Erica came back hard and was solid throughout.)

-Davis/Doomsday (Sam was wonderful as usual and Doomsday is looking more threatening with each episode, I loved the new effects for the transformaton!)

-The special effects in general, really nice!

-All the Superman forshadowing!

Things that were meh:

-The acting in the teaser (Both Tom and Tori made me cringe, what the hell was going on when they shot that scene!)

-Clark breaking the Legion ring...:cmad:!!!

-The episode as a whole felt a bit rushed, but hey, it wasn't even nearly as bad as how they rushed the end of "Apocalypse"!:o

Next week looks exciting!:woot:

3rd episode in a row that Clark looks like an idiot

First he needs Mama Chloe to tell him what to do
Secondly Lois has to save him from the Kryptonite
Thirdly he needs to grow a pair of balls, it's a fricken cup of coffee for god's sake

I agree with Mikelus, alot of the Clois stuff tonight seemed like recycled Clana

Can't this show just write Clark to look like a smart, happy person without many hangups.

great episode tonight. Was like all of the Lana stuff never even happened. The time travel didnt even bother me this time since it ha a semi-feasible explanation with the Legion ring.

For those of you wondering if Clark learned anything from all of this, I think his convo with Chloe right before the end basically summed that up. He now knows he needs a secondary persona if he's ever going to come out.

And   to suffocating Torri Spelling with a pillow

Good episode tonight. Much better than the last two.

Clark should have had the coffee with Lois though.

Am I one of the few people who loved the last scene between Clark and Lois?

Finally the writers made a good decision, this won't be another melodramatic Clana saga. Clark stood up Lois because he does have feelings her, but isn't ready to pursue her and his not ready to open his heart again, not yet. At least, that's how I saw that scene.

Actually I don't see that way , I see them heading toward the Classic established Lois, Superman , Clark Kent love triangle dynamic .

I find Clois infinitely more compelling than Clana because with Clana, we all knew it was doomed and they stretched it out too long. With Clois, they have the perfect chemistry and will have the fanboys and girls eating out of the palm of their hand as long as they throw Clois a bone every once in a while.

I'm giving this episode major brownie points (aside from being a pretty entertaining what if episode in it's own right) for bypassing any lingering Lana/Clark angst from Clark and moving Lois right back into the thick of things. Extremely wise decision.

Dodged that frickin bullet.

*wipes sweat from brow*

Well tonight's episode was pretty good i thought. Nice to finally be off of hiatus and having lois back is another great thing. I thought the lois and clark scenes were great, same with the clark and chloe scenes. Tom have great chemistry with both erica and allison. I loved the tension between clark and lois at the start of the episode and at the end when he used the legion ring to restart things over again.

I loved the scene where he revealed his seceret to lois and then the following scenes of the city loving him. I thought they all worked well and the acting during those scenes where great. Then linda lake/tori spelling i thought she was a bit better acting this time around compared to hydro back in season 6. Though she is a crappy actress. Glad to see her character got it in the end by davis/doomsday.

Speaking of which the continuing storyline with davis/chloe and his doomsday beast form is moving along nicely. His scenes with chloe at the hospital and isis were pretty good. Also nice to see dd form once again. The suit looks great. To bad chloe's message in the original timeline never got to clark. Stupid clark couldnt wait to after lois had to say what she said.

As for lois during the time she knew i thought it was great and she acted wonderfully and was a good ally for clark and was on his back. As for the legion ring being used it was the most logical device since the fos/jorel is still damaged and the episode wasnt a dream/AU setting. Sad to see the ring was destroyed by clark as he said in the end of the episode.

As for the ending it sucks clark didnt decide to meet up lois to discuss the last time they where together and the whole almost kissing. I wish they where not dragging it out more but they have the rest of this season and next season to get the whole lois and clark together plot.

As for next week looks to be an interesting episode and i cant wait to see how things play out for everyone.

Clark didn't meet Lois at the end of the episode because he is in love with Lois and he doesn't want to hurt her . He found out how Lois truly feels about him before he used the Legion ring . She loves him and not just because he was an alien from another planet with super powers . She loves him for who he is as Clark Kent and he loves her too .

IMO that was a great foreshadowing of Lois & Superman/Clark Kent relationship in the future . For quite sometime Clark won't reveal his secret Identity to Lois to protect her . However I believe she'll figure it out but won't say anything until Clark reveals he's Superman . Then when the secret is revealed Lois & Clark relationship will blossom into the epic true love story.

IMO that was a great foreshadowing of Lois & Superman/Clark Kent relationship in the future from Partners to Soulmates .

I concur. I loved the scene in the barn between Clark and Lois, probably the most powerful scene between those two yet. Just the way Lois expressed how important Clark was to her and Clark telling Lois that she is special...just a perfect scene! I didn't see any angst between them like Clana, this is the beginning of Superman/CK/Lois Lane dynamic!
