One of the best directors going around. Thoroughly deserved.

Whew. Glad Cuaron won. Wouldn't surprise me now if it wins BP but I think they'll give it to 12YAS. Regardless, I'm good either way.

It's good to see a sci-fi film gets some Oscar love. That rarely happens.

I found Gravity to be quite overrated but man he deserved this

It makes me laugh that some of the mods I've seen are some of my least favorite posters around these forums. :)

It makes mods laugh how many of the worst posters are still here despite the fact they are obnoxious and crass 90% of the time, but hey that's life! :yay:

Gravity has the techs, the editors, and now director.

I don't know folks. It could take it.

And if it does, Gravity and co.(Warner Bros. included) would be making Sci-Fi film history.

Wrong again brother.

Okay. So, say their are two doctors/mechanics/builders/whatever arguing over the best way to do what they need to do, two different ideas... neither can be wrong? No matter what?

"Looks like ________ isn't getting much love tonight! LOL har har har!"

Yeah, neither are any other movies besides Gravity or 12 Years A Slave. Stop harping on the losers, for once.
So true. Plenty of movies aren't getting any love. Of course Hustle was nominated 10 times so it's more noticeable that it hasn't and won't win anything.

"Adela Dazeem" is now on Twitter!

:lmao:

12yrs for best picture. .I can feel it

I'll still be shocked if 12YAS doesn't get BP. Not upset (I love Gravity), just shocked.

One of the best directors going around. Thoroughly deserved.
I would kill for WB to snatch him up for a DC project. Pipe dream, I know.

There have been no surprises. I 100% now believe that 12 Years is winning Best Picture.
