You'd think Smallville was all about Oliver Queen if it was for the official descriptions and general spoilers since most of them seem to be concerning him.

well ollie like tess and zod are only scheduled for 16 episodes for the season. Plus we already know ollie isnt in every single episode. Yes season 6 ollie was used to much, but since then he hasnt been GA down our throats every episode. Plus this season has alot more focus on clark and lois.

- The "Dark Archer" is an old mentor of Oliver's from a Celtic cult of assassins.
- Oliver gets a new Green Arrow costume by this point.

Well I can see the Batman Begins references [Dark Archer - Ra's Al Ghul , Celtic cult of assassins - The league of Shadows .]

I wonder if his new costume is going to be more like his JLU outfit ?

I don't think a turtleneck, that hat and long green gloves would look good on Oliver.

But I loved every minute of JLU though!

yea the closest we ever got to classic GA outfit on ollie in smallville was back in season 6 at that costume party he went to with lois.

For his new outfit they will probably just modify his regular smallville look just a tad.

I thought Green Arrows Costume was good, something they would use in a movie had he ever had one. It was really good for a TV show the other JL members..not so much haha

i see nothing wrong with the other jlers black canery is pretty on the T, same with zatanna. Then as for impluse and cyborg they are ok looks.

Yeah, I wasn't think bout Canary or Zatanna those are pretty good. Its The Flash's or "Impulse" that costume sucks. So does Aquaman's..I hope they get more traditional ones. But that will probably never happen. Zatanna's is actually the closest to the comics then any character that's ever been on that show at least that I can think of?

actually i think aquaman is pretty good as it is and impulse sure isnt like what it is from the comics but they were also trying to add in flash stuff too a bit in his look i believe. But the smallville costumes work in the show's world since no one is running around in "tights" outfits.

Yeah! Smallville's Aquaman suit is probably my favorite look for the character out of all the different versions, including comics. I prefer the sleeveless+fauxhawk version as opposed to the sleeved+slicked back hair, though it is cool that he can switch it up too.
The only other version I've ever really liked alot is this:

But on Smallville, you kind get the since that Oliver hooked the team up with his own personal Edna Mode, with all of them having similarly styled hoodies. It gives them a cool sense of visual unity.

Ollie (and Speedy) will probably just end up with a more streamlined looking Hoodie. It'll probably keep the arrow design motif, but the shapes/lines and colors will probably flow a little better (as opposed to having 3 different shades of green and curves clashing against straighter edges.

yea speedy suit will probably be more solid red, with a yellow hoody with maybe some yellow streaks in arms area/legs and then maybe some arrow pattern around chest/back area. plus i would be surprised maybe if mia in either crossfire or disciple wears a necklace with an arrowhead on it or something.

he looks good, hopefully he will actually be called comics name if he is indeed supposed to be green arrow's villain merlyn. Really i dont see why any green arrow villains names would have any rights issue right now. Cause come on dark archer is a lame name to go by. But he looks cool.

Seeing as how the comics have adopted SV's look of the Green Arrow, it's doubtful that his new costume will change much outside of maybe a mask.

actually we can see in the promos ollie is still sporting his sunglasses/goggles look, i believe the only changes really are a slight change in colors and a slight pattern alterations.
