Surely for this to work, his surname needs to be Triplett...? Or was it his grandfather? So he would need a daughter to marry a man called Triplett...

I thought the Black Howling Commando was Tripp's Grandad? You know,he knew Captain America and everything.

BTW,can someone list the names of the HC's? I only know them as Dum Dum and

The Asian Guy
The Black Guy
The French Guy
The British Guy

I know the British Guy was also the superhero Union Jack but that's about it.

Bah! Their names aren't as good as I thought. Let's go back to their previous anonymity. :p

Sacrilege! :p

I'm gonna have to pull a Jack Horner from Boogie Nights and go, "Those are great names!"

If Gabe Jones has a grandson named Antoinne Tripplett, maybe Jim Morita had a grandson named Pat Morita. :p

Hello everyone. I'm leaving loving the series so far. Out of all the comic book bases properties this along with Constantine are my favorites, I do enjoy Gotham and, of course, Agents of SHIELD, but Agent Carter just kicked it up with all guns blazing from episode one in my opinion. I was weary about Agent Carter being the first female character within Marvel (or the two major comic brands) to get her own series but she has impressed me and I'm intrigued in reading more about her.

I know Marvel just released a Captain America and Peggy Carter one-shot last month and that there's a new mini that features Stark and Peggy.

Are there any other worthwhile series or story arcs that feature Peggy in a major role?

Thanks in advance!

You know who'd make a GREAT Jim Hammond? Billy (Rocketeer) Campbell.
I was watching the movie this afternoon when it hit me.

There isn't really any. MOST of stories in Cap's books or even Shield, is SHARON Carter, her NIECE.
There was a great fan explanation on You Tube about Peggy Carter. That covered all the Actual women in the original series (one was a woman named Betty Ross) but now I can't find it.
Peggy Carter is a Stan Lee and Jack Kirby creation more or less.

I just rewatched the first three episodes. Yep, this show is nearly flawless.

This show feels like it's almost over already. Only 5 more episodes to go.

If they have a second season, they should make it 13 episodes.

Curious to see the new Howling Commandos in action.

I do hope that they come up with an explanation as to why Dum Dum is the only one of Cap's Howling Commandos to return. A simple explanation could be that all of them are still in the military and were unavailable during the events of the episode.

I wanted a full season but kept hearing less is more chanted in response.

Less does make for a better. At least, it reduces the chances of a bad episode. And I haven't seen a bad episode yet.

But if less really is more then they should have even less and only have 3 episodes. The season would be over already. :oldrazz:
