given the interviews i've read of him and the other creative team for AC, it seems like human Jarvis and Peggy will be the mainstays of the series. maybe its why they couldnt say much about Dominic Cooper and Howard Stark-- is that he's not really necessary to appear in the show?

I am really excited for Agent Carter. After leaving the theatre of TFA, I was really kind of disappointed that we weren't going to see Cap in the 1940s any more. The fact that we're getting a TV series set in the 1940s that has been described as an 8 hour movie, being lead by one of the better(if not, best) female characters in the MCU... well done Marvel.

The thing about Agent Carter is that it could have flashback episodes to the CA:TFA period enabling Chris Evans to guest star. There is tons of material there that hasn't been covered. Would even be cool if we got a flashback episode showing how Peggy first signed up as a soldier in WWII.

And Baron Zemo 1 would be a great way of introducing the character, and allowing a more modern version in Cap 3.

And if not Paul Bettany as Edwin Jarvis (and he doesn't really have to play the character) then how about someone like Victor Garber?

That's certainly a possibility. I'm not sure Baron Von Strucker is HYDRA, for example, based on the post-credits scene in TWS. However, it does seem a bit of a shame to sever the HYDRA ties for the two Zemos, particularly with HYDRA back in the modern world.

Coleman was nothing but a bit part and Dormer... Isn't she still on GoT?

But a bit part can always become a more substantial role if they wanted. And lots of people are on other shows but guest star in a different show. There's no problem there for Dormer. Both Jenna and Natalie don't have to be regulars at all.
