While I thought the idea of the Agents of Shield show was a nice concept, I wasn't overly eager to make an effort to see much of the show. This however definitely has my interest. A combination of loving the character of Peggy from First Avenger and how much fun her Marvel Short was made me very eager for this. Plus I love the idea of the show taking place in the 50's with potential flashbacks to moments from WWII.

I just thought of something. I'd love for an episode to deal with the 0-8-4 blaster thing from SHIELD that was left in that temple and how it was left there (assuming that thing didn't happen during WWII)>

I don't see why he would since the show is not SHARON Carter, it's Peggy from the 40's and 50's at the START of SHIELD. Jim's Shield was at LEAST 15 years after it started

I would love to see Tommy Lee Jones appear, or at least indicate what he's up to. TWS made it seem like he was fairly important in evolving the SSR into SHIELD. I also think a Zola appearance is critical to help weave in the HYDRA infiltration plot. But I don't think HYDRA will be the major focus, I think from the One-Shot Zodiac is going to be the big bad of this show.

I'm really excited for this. This show has serious potential! Peggy is a great character, and I have no problem with a show based around her and the founding of SHIELD

This is a great idea, DN91. I was thinking the same thing. An episode about the 084 in Peru would really be taking advantage of the shared ABC universe. It would almost be a waste not too do it! It would also explore (or at the very least, acknowledge) HYDRA post-WWII, which would be great.

I also hope this series develops the Zodiac serum/group that was introduced in the one-shot.

Hopefully with a shorter commitment like that we'll be save from aimless filler episodes. My hope at least.

I wonder if it is only 8 episodes to better fit in the mid-season break of AOS. I was really scratching my head at a potential 13-week break. This makes much more sense, even though it is different than what we had heard before.
