This is a great interview.. Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas are interviewed by Tara's husband Marc Guggenheim

That is great.

Guggenheim: Tara, what subconscious or textual thing is behind the fact that your protagonist won't sleep with my protagonist?! What does that say about our marriage? I know that says something! Particularly since my protagonist sleeps with pretty much everything.

:lmao:

I just saw that this is a prequel to the Agent Carter one-shot...so by the end of this, she is still a marginalized, glorified secretary. That's kind of disappointing. I guess theoretically they can link this to Ant Man and the old project that was dusted off and becomes Ultron though.

According to HitFix the show is post-One Shot (tomorrow's ep uses a few brief clips as flashbacks).

Although I thought someone official had said the show was essentially overwriting the One Shot...?

It just means she has a sort of secret identity. Not a problem IMO. This way she has to go out on missions alone which makes things more interesting and dangerous.

Yeah she's got a cameo in Ant-Man I believe, so flashback
Well you have to expect Flashbacks anyway if Hank was supposed to be Giant Man in the 60's. I'm wondering if NEXT year if Agent Carter is a hit we'll see Hank on Agent Carter.

Don't get me wrong, I really want Hank Pym on Agent Carter. But I don't think he's quite that old in the Ant-Man movie. Michael Douglas was born in 1944, afterall. Even if we assume he's older (80 instead of 70), it's still closer to 1960 than 1948.

Maybe, if they skip ahead rather than do a year a season, it can happen down the line. I just think it'll take a couple of years (even though next year would be perfect timing).

Hayley Atwell has already alluded to the show (if successful) possibly hopping forward in time.

Well, tonight's the night. Hopefully this thing will swim and not sink.

Damn it.....this or Leslie Knope and her band of friends

This. It's Parks last season so it has no fear of being cancelled. We want this to do well so we can either get a second season or even more shows inspired by one-shots.

Yep. DVR Pawnee. Tune in live for Peggy please.

I work nights so I have to DVR every thing. Oh well haha.

Oh man, I didn't even realize this was on at the same time as Parks! Not that my viewership gets counted anyway (as far as I know - kinda hard to tell in today's climate, lol) and I'll be DVR-ing both, but I'll watch this live.

I'll be watching neither live as the gf is insisting on a date night tonight. :cmad:

If she doesn't want to continue playing for several seasons, they could shift it to the character of Sharon Carter in the present day, with Emily Van Camp taking over as the lead, especially if Revenge finishes soon (which I hope it does).

Its odd to see all these positive reviews after seeing only negative/luke-warm ones on Yahoo the last 2 days. Then again I haven't been paying much attention to this.

I don't know if it geo restricted but ABC will be streaming the show

AAAAAAAAH!!! SCREAMING INTERNALLY!!!!

I will (hopefully) get to watch it tonight and tomorrow on Hulu+ as well.

I've only seen about 3 negative reviews: Yahoo, Vulture, and Slate. Everywhere else seems really positive.

ETA: BOOOOOOO!!! Can't watch unless you have a provider account for channels… #cordcutting
