Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. - S02E09 "Ye Who Enter Here"

It seems like the Kree programming possessed/infected him and turned him into a sort of Sentry...but that doesn't mean that every Sentry ever has been created that way.

That's a good point.

Great episode, but I hate the idea of that being the MCU version of a Kree Sentry. I need to see a real Kree Sentry in Captain Marvel, please.

And I'm not counting Mac out yet.

Then, if a Kree Sentry is destroyed, it sends a message to the Kree homeworld and they go Defcon 1, and dispatch someone like Ronan, or a Kree armada, or both.

Might be cool if those gone missing (according to legend) have become Sentries and still live on.

The legend called it "garita del diablo", literal translation is shelter of the devil. Garita is also guardhouse in spanish.

In Marvel comic lore, Attilan is known as "The Great Refuge". "Refuge" is another synonym for "shelter".

If that's not a solid confirmation of what we've suspected all along, I don't know what is.

I think Mack is still alive but now a kree sentry.

"...susceptible to attacks affecting machinery."

How about attacks that are seismic in nature?

I just find it amusing that IF he is now a sentry, one of the abilities Mack (a mechanic) now possesses is "auto repair."

:hehe:

I'm going to go sit in my corner now...

Does this mean Phil will let him work on Lola now.

At the very least, there was a deliberate nod to a version of a Kree Sentry. Of course, that doesn't mean we won't see a more comic-accurate version of them later on.

(Everyone has their favorites, but I always thought of the comic Sentries as pretty generic giant robots, and on screen they might be very similar to the MCU's Destroyer-- but that's all probably just a personal problem. I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade).

Change his origin to inhuman, and they could make it fit still.

That thought crossed my mind as well. I suppose anything is possible until they announce who will be playing Luke Cage.

As an aside, did Bobbi say Mack was someone's big brother? Perhaps we'll meet his younger brother someday.

I always confuse them with Sentinels.

So will the glyphs effect humans who have been converted with Kree blood in the same way that Mac was effected?

I've been an avid watcher of both first & second seasons of S.H.I.E.L.D & have posted in here many times.
Yeah I know you've posted alot in here, I was just saying with the amount of people in here whether they've seen tonight's show yet or not, that's alot of Lurkers. lol

I'm up to .09 posts per day, you guys are in big trouble now. :woot:
as long as you aren't spamming you're fine lol

It was a joke. Youre a big brother, not my big brother.

Good point. Maybe having the GH serum will Coulson fly under the radar, so to speak, and get into the city unharmed.

Just how many Koenigs are there? Please tell me we'll get to see a scene where a bad guy (Ward Maybe?) gets surrounded and take out by an army of Koenigs?

FitzSimmons is something that is rapidly overtaking SkyeWard from what I've seen online... Kinda obvious to me that they're going to end up a thing, so the silly messing about is going to get boring fast.

Mac is built like a truck (ironically) so I expect the team will end up finding I'm down there perfectly fine and dandy...

So the thing Bobbie has going on the side that Mac knew about and she didn't tell her ex......I think she's working for Stark.

I think one of the Koenigs said that there was like 13 of them but don't know if that number counted the deceased one in the group or not.

Fury is still around. That would be my guess.

He was joking, though. It's still very intentionally ambiguous.
