I'm slightly confused about that as well.
 
I wonder if it is just unused footage for CA:TFA which would mean that McDonagh and co wouldn't have to suit up again. Also, wasn't Hayley Atwell only getting her wig fitting just the day before yesterday? But the season premiere of AOS would have been filmed a while ago.

It would seem simpler and less costly to just use unused footage that they maybe filmed for that montage sequence for the First Avenger which ended up only being seen in brief in the movie. I guess though they could always have actually filmed new material.

If they did only use unseen footage, then that could explain why Neal McDonagh wasn't listed in the credits.
 
maybe some sort of cross generational plot, colson can be inspired all he wants by carter but there is still the issue that hydra used shield as a 'perfect parasite' lessons can be learned but it needs to be figured how mistakes where made. unless the mo of hydra has changed then infiltration is an issue both have in common with Colson having the benefit of hindsight.
 
From what i've seen from the little amount of preview we've gotten I definitely like how the tone of this season seems like it is going to be.
 
The opening scene from this episode with Lucy Lawless and Nick Blood's characters appearing is now out in the open, at the usual sources.
