Well,it looks like the clairvoyant is a high ranking member of SHIELD like I originally called.

The scene with them confronting "the clairvoyant" seemed a bit off to me.It reminded me of the scene in Avengers where the Spear makes them argue.I was not sure if we were supposed to think "the clairvoyant" was making them act erratic (complete with Ward pulling the trigger) or everyone was just getting hyper-worked up.

May's been made.:woot: You can tell Fitz was scared for his life.:hehe: I don't think she's "evil".She most likely is dealing with Fury or something.

Skye's promotion was a welcome addition, though not quite the event I thought they'd make it out to be.

Deathlok was cool.I have to wonder why they would give him fake skin to cover his faceplate and not fix the other side of his face.

Garrett is way too suspicious.Something's up with him.Between his interest in Skye and Triplett's interest in Simmons,I think they're trying to find out the real story.

I like Sitwell.I hope we see more of him.I thought Blake taking a shot at him was funny.:woot:

I think the Clarvoyant has to be something Hydra or AIM related since that seems to be a big part of Phase 2, and assuming the show is back in season 2 to link up with AoU how this season is linking with Cap2 I could see the storyline shifting even further after we discover who the Claivoyant actually is at the end of this season (I hope). As to who or what it is I don't know, I don't have a large knowledge of comic characters so I'm just letting it play out in front of me.

Could be something like Zola, Modok, possibly Strucker or Zemo, Red Skull in modern times, idk what else but I'm sure there's plenty more.

Maybe it's even something cosmic or magical setting up or alluding to things post Phase 2 where we see something from Dr. Strange's world or in the GotG/Thanos/Other/Kree world. You have to think this show will tie into the Netflix series as well so anything from those could be in play also.

Lots of fantastic possibilities lie ahead for this show and the MCU as a whole regarding its interconnectivity. I can't wait to see what's in store months and years down the line!

Also where does the show go in a post-SHIELD world from next week and future seasons is an interesting concept. Do Coulson and the ones he figured out he can trust keep up their own branch of SHIELD to try and maintain what threats they can in the world? Does the team split up? (I hope not). Maybe they recon with an underground/in hiding Fury to keep up the good fight.

I have so many questions! Haha this show has me so damn hooked.

This was a really good episode, I really didn't see this coning.

And to think after all these breaks, I was going to stop watching this show.

I sure did wish Deathlock looked more like the comics though.

[blackout]Alexander Pierce[/blackout] is the Clarvoyant.

That episode was terrific. This show has really come into its own. I really hope the ratings hod up enough to get a 2nd season. I'm anxious as hell to see where this goes.

love it. no one in SHIELD can trust anyone else. everyone is suspect. muhahahaha!

yeah

or at least he's on the other side. they needed him to fire the tag shell into Deathlok to track him to where they wanted them to be. this has all been part of the plan I do believe. to divide and conquer SHIELD

major spoilers for CA:TWS so please don't open this if you haven't seen it yet!

Surely the clairvoyant has to be zola? he's hardwired into the system, he must have seen it all!

This show is SO good now. Cannot wait for the next episode. Tonights was amazing!

I feel like they blew their budget on this one, unless Joss is getting more Disney money.

Poor Coulson, he doesnt know what the f is going on. He's so confused.

.....why would they trust each other....they're ALL spies!!! :D just making a point lol

Seemed like next week is going to be pretty expensive too from the preview haha. I'm sure money isn't an issue on this show.

Coulson's paranoia and distrust is really spiraling out of control. In the course of ten minutes, he essentially accuses both Ward and May of being traitors. If he's reacting like this now, then he's going to freak when he finds out that:

Pierce and Sitwell are HYDRA agents and that SHIELD is hopelessly compromised.

I like how Ward pulling the trigger was set up by both the effects of the berserker staff and the conversation he had with Trip earlier in the ep.

And that Fury is "dead" when actually he's underground and Hill has left for Stark Industries.

This was a damn cool episode.

The only part I didn't like was when Titus Welliver's character was apparently offed. You can't kill The Man in Black! (Lost reference) :p

Such a great episode, having seen TWS I can say that this "end of the beginning" does a fantastic job of setting up that film. The identity of the Clairvoyant is revealed in that movie and I think everyone will be satisfied. Can't wait to see more Deathlok and what happens afterward!

Blake was only critically injured. He might survive. I think they just injured him as an excuse as to why he's not in Winter Soldier.

Heck he'd better live since(Spoiler for Winter Soldier and episode 18 prerelease pics)
He's seemingly the only extra agent in the episode that's really on Coulson's side.

Well, I hated May from the beginning, thought she was the worst character on the show. Now, this espisode intensified my hatred
