Great episode! But I hear the haters complaining about more avengers references in the episode.

So now Whedon reveas his hand about Ward. Boring my ass.

The last 35-40 mins of that was great. Probably my favorite episode so far. Lots of good stuff going on

Ming/Coulsan, Ward/Skye, Fitz/Simmons........everyone is a couple now?

I thought they were going to actually tell us what happened with Coulson.

I should know better
I did too lol I was half expecting a drawer to pop out of Phil's chest lol

Just because people of opposite sexes talk to each other doesn't mean they're a couple or wanna be in a relationship haha.

Cool looks like next week is gunna test Fitz out since Simmons just got hers. Thank goodness for Thor hold me over til next Tues haha

It's annoying but they're still keeping me so antsy on Coulson. I just wanna know!

Simmons did a terrific job with this episode. Some really good acting on there.

Agent Ward to the rescue!! Telling you, there's more to Ward than meets the eye

Agreed, though when he said 'punish', combined with the fact that he's a Punisher fan I was like "connectioooon?!" I kid, I kid. But he did really say he would like Frank on the show when there was a round of questions for the cast an event a while back.

What about the Avengers who fought the Chitauri hand to hand, wouldn't they have been exposed to this same virus also, so it should have already been known?

Really great episode.More focus on the team, and less on the "freak of the week" approach. So (apart from the first 2 or 3 minutes) it was consistently interesting.

The Coulson mystery continues to be the highlight of the series.I really liked the scene with Phil and Tony before he blew up.(or whatever it was that happened to him)

Fitz & Simmons made good use of the spotlight given them.I still say the cast is good, just a few more episodes like this would be helpful in making folks care about them.

Liked how Coulson was bad*** with Blake at the end.:awesome:

I'm pretty sure that part of the episode was their cagey way of telling us "No people, he's not an LMD".

And seriously, it's the 6th episode of a 22 episode first season. I'd honestly be pissed if they showed their cards so early.

I think they were infected touching the "rust" of the helmet which infected them. Did it state how long after New York this was?

Coulson did get to go to a heaven of some kind.

Agreed on both counts.

so, that girl who talked to me isn't my girlfriend, now? :csad:

No they didn't.
no it wasn't rush, but, it was suggested that it was build up that was cause by time...

the avengers being exposed at the time, doesn't mean they were infected

I'm back on the AoS is before IM3 bandwagon. I actually think the timeline will be something like Thor then IM3 then cap 2 all pretty close together lol.

But based on the info that we've gotten, that can't be since it's been said that:

1. "Iron Man 3" takes place 6 months after the events of "The Avengers".

2. "Thor: The Dark World" takes place an year after "The Avengers".

3. And according to Scarlett, "The Winter Soldier" takes place 2 years after "The Avengers".

They also said on IO9 that an upcoming episode will deal with the fallout of Thor 2, so I guess that kind of helps hah.

Best episode by far. Ive been a naysayer from day one and I enjoyed that ep.
