Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Show In The Works

Yeah, I don't see anyone all that broken up about the spin-off not happening. If they want to do something with Bobbi and Lance they can do it on the main show and everybody is happy.

Well I don't think anyone wants more of the same as AOS, at the cost of Agent Carter, especially since Agent Carter is the better show than AOS.

I think any new series coming to ABC needs to bring something new to the table and this idea just felt redundant. How about something completely different like Cloak & Dagger, The Runaways or Avengers Academy?

Wouldn't now be a good time to change the thread title to AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Show NOT In The Works?

That's boring. What about dreams destroyed as abc crushes hopes of spinoff?

But no-one seems to want this spin-off anyway, so how are dreams destroyed?

G'day,

Nobody had any real idea what the series was about. Only that it starred Bobbi and Hunter. Can't see how you can want or not want something you no nothing about.

I didn't want another show starring agents of shield if it's not Agents of Shield. As well as the fact that the characters added much to the series and I wouldn't want them gone. I don't want AoS to return to the original team

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I think Daughters of the Dragon: Colleen Wing and Misty Knight, would be an awesome detective procedural. It would be a good fit for Network or Cable.

Despite putting a halt on the “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” spinoff, which was proposed earlier this year, ABC is closing in on a deal to order a pilot for a project centered around Mockingbird, Variety has learned exclusively.

Titled “Marvel’s Most Wanted,” the drama will focus on popular “SHIELD” characters Adrianne Palicki‘s Bobbi Morse (also known as Mockingbird) and Nick Blood’s Lance Hunter. The two actors will topline the pilot and prospective series.

“SHIELD” producers Jeff Bell and Paul Zbyszewski co-created the project for Marvel and ABC Studios, co-writing the pilot. They will serve as showrunners and exec producers together with Marvel’s head of television Jeph Loeb also exec producing.

Insiders say the series is not a spinoff, per se, but rather an entirely new project solely focused on the two characters to continue their story. Though plot details are scarce at this point, “Marvel’s Most Wanted” will follow the pair and their adventures together.

At this time, ABC has not made any decisions regarding premiere date or a path of introduction, such as introducing the new show as a planted episode during “SHIELD.”

Kinda surprised this is still something they're trying to do.

I'm excited for this cause Bobbi and Hunter are literally the only two people on the team I actually genuinely like as characters other than May and Mack.

If they added those last two to this spin-off and kept Coulson, Skye, the bobbsey twins and everyone else on SHIELD, I'm there in a heartbeat.

It bothers me that they're wasting Adrianne Palicki in tv series. I would much rather her be in feature films - can totally picture her as Captain Marvel.

Ever seen her in John Wick? She's probably one of the minority of decent women actors out there who actually look convincing when fighting.

This only confirms that The Secret Warriors will be taking over AoS. No more room for Bobbi and Hunter.

Let's hope they at least call her Mockingbird before her spinoff.

"Marvel's Most Wanted"?

I really hope I'm wrong, but this certainly sounds like it could go down the episodic road that AoS ventured on in the first half of its debut season...and that's not good for anybody.

Do we really need to watch Bobbi and Lance hunt down a new Z-grade baddie every week while they work out their differences and love/hate relationship?

I am dedicated to all things Marvel Studios, and will definitely watch this...but I at least hope I like it.

Kinda a funny title, given nobody's asking for this. :hehe:

Horrible title, but I would totally be here for this since she was the best addition to AoS last season which also may be a bad thing for AoS taking away one of their best characters. Now CW just needs to give me my Birds of Prey spin off.

The problem is that there's only so much room for characters on the main show. There are already quite a few and if we're going to be adding more, then it'll become more and more difficult to give everyone sufficient screentime. Also, where would Bobbi and Hunter reasonably fit into a show that's becoming Inhumans-centric apparently?

Uh, did you miss last season of Agents of SHIELD or something? I think we're past that point now.
