Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Spin-Off Show In The Works

I'm in for an halfway show between AOS and Daredevil.
Deathlok mini show.

I'm not sure I'd do a spinoff when all it really does is water down the potential casts and storylines of both shows. I think Bobbi and Lance work well with AoS since they give Coulson's team much needed muscle with Ward off on his own right now and Skye still coming to terms with her powers. Plus, I don't see how a show works with just them unless it's just a filler show like Agent Carter was during winter hiatus.

I've been seeing a lot of stuff about wanting Hawkeye and Mockingbird to hook up, instead of Hunter.

They need to know the Hawk is taken

On another note this show could be cool

I'm all for Mockingbird starring, I just wish she didn't have to bring Hunter with her. Oh well.

Crappingbird starring ? Come on shes annoying now & on ****** SHIELDs side

I'm not sure I really like this idea. I love Palicki as Mockingbird and I quite enjoy Hunter as well, but I think they work better in the confines of AoS. The other thing is, I'm not sure I really want another SHIELD agent show, we have AoS, Agent Carter, and now Mockingbird. I think I would've rather had a Deathlok show or something Inhumans-related.

It'll be interesting to see if this is a full season or a mid-season filler show, with the other new Marvel show being a full season. I could see a filler show focusing on one specific mission, and that sort of tight story telling was good for Agent Carter.

Anyway, I'm cool with this, even if it wasn't my first choice. The main AoS cast stays intact, and (although lots of people dislike Hunter and/or Bobbi), I think having a different dynamic might do them well. A duo vs. supporting players in a team ensemble could make a big difference. We'll have a much better idea what direction this will be taking when AoS season 2 wraps up in a few weeks.

Who knows, the main AoS show might shift directions. With all this Inhumans stuff, who knows what Season 3 will focus on. Maybe it will be less espionage-y, and the Mockingbird spinoff will be more heavy spy stuff.

I think the problem here is probably that AoS is getting crowded with main characters. We're up to 8 now, the showrunners may want to add new ones for the next season and with Hunter and Bobbi's character arcs mainly revolving around each other it seems like they'd be the ones that'd best benefit from being spun off, thus allowing room for new additions.

There is probably something big that differentiates the two shows that we don't yet know about. What if this show is Secret Avengers or something? The title alone would draw a lot of viewers. They could use Mockingbird and Hunter, obviously, but also Deathlok, Sif (in place of Valkyrie), and Hawkeye as a recurring character.

Interesting it says they are eyed as being the leads, i wonder if they woulda have been suited to be part of the supporting team instead. Lots of questions ofcourse but ill give it a shot marvel hasnt dissapointed yet.

Cool concept!

Renner has made no secret that he hates TV work and would never do a series. So, Hawkeye is out. Still, I love the concept and idea.

What I hate to read is the other show they are talking about is Ms. Marvel. The PC, muslim teenager, only been an actual Marvel character for 15 minutes... Ms. Marvel. Inhuman or not, even I won't watch that crap.

The Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff is one of two new Marvel series for ABC in the works, along with a drama written by John Ridley, that, according to the latest online speculation, may be centered on Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan).

I'd like to see a Kamala Khan series, but isn't it too soon. In the comics, she's a big fan of Carol Danvers, which inspires her, but Captain Marvel doesn't come out for a few years, so it seems out of sync.

I'm on board with this. I am imagining this being action heavy with a dose of romance and sex.

I like AoS. I really do. And I liked Agent Carter.

But I've gotta be honest. If I wasn't an insanely huge MCU fan, I probably wouldn't be watching them.

So it makes me sad that I'm just not excited to hear about this spin-off. Unless Marvel makes this new show absolutely crazy and just loads it with super science and powers and even mysticism...I just don't know. I can't handle anymore Marvel spy drama on top of what we're already getting...

That's exciting. Though it is very bittersweet since Bobbi has brought a lot to AoS this season imo.

Can't wait to see who else they bring to the show. Hopefully Jessica Drew?

I think Hunter is a pretty cool guy. eh helps Fitzes out of bathrooms and doesn't afraid of anything

Remember Marvel been working on a Mockingbird TV show for a while

Head of Television Jeph Loeb announced this afternoon at Comic-Con International in San Diego that Mockingbird is in the works for corporate sibling ABC Family, depicting Marvel comics character Bobbi Morse as “a Peter Parker nerd” recruited as a spy by a secret organization. He described the premise as “Alias meets Felicity
In the comics, Mockingbird is a scientist turned S.H.I.E.L.D. agent turned Avenger. She’s an expert hand-to-hand combatant with a PhD in biology who’s trained in a variety of weapons, but is partial to using a pair of batons.

Eh, I cant see this taking orf unless, as another member said, it's the Secret Avengers concept or something. What can a solo Mockingbird show offer that Agents can't? I'd honestly rather they just focussed on making Agents consistently good.

I figured and this can be cool if done correctly.

I'm going to guess that Revenge is going to leave its final season and Agent 13 will be in AoS S3, along with some people from current storyline with SHIELD once SHIELD combines.

Mockingbird and Hunter will be in in the spinoff, and there will probably be a couple of crossovers with AoS. I bet the Mockingbird TV show may be similar to ALIAS, but with a slight superhero slant.

All of these are just guess and wishes, but that said, I'll add on that I want Agent Carter for another 12 episodes and in between AoS's winter break.

The show is gonna have to be a different animal than AoS, otherwise they wouldn't bother. Nobody wants a retread of what they already have, so I really don't think it will be a "Bobbi Morse: Agent of SHIELD" type of premise. I'm thinking Bobbi's gonna be disillusioned by this whole SHIELD vs. SHIELD thing and strike out on her own as a free agent. Maybe the spin-off will be their first attempt at a non-Netflix straightforward (non-powered) superhero show or something. I like the idea of Alias with a superhero slant.

I hope this doesn't take the potential place of more Agent Carter, though. I need more Peggy!
