Could've been his dad or mom that was an agent who got killed over Baby Skye, though. Dunno, might be a tad *too* contrived, but it would definitely make for some great drama.

They may have met during the shooting of the pilot. It's got to be someone bigger than that. It has to be one of these guys:

My wishful thinking has me believing the reason that they show Cap's shield in the show's promos is more than just to link it to TWS.

Cap seems the most fitting character to guest star given recent events. Well, either him or Black Widow.

Of course, if Hawkeye had guest starred in this last episode, it would've explained what he was doing while the events of CA:TWS were going down.

It would actually be cool if Hawkeye did show up and if they actually had Jeremy Renner get into a fight with Brett Dalton. So far the movie and TV characters have interacted or helped each other, but not actually fought each other.

Why do people automatically assume that it's an Avenger? All that quote indicates is that it's someone that Chloe Bennet is a big fan of personally and that the fans will like the guest star.

Upcoming guest stars that could fit that bill: Patton Oswalt and Cobie Smulders.

Chris Evans had a beard for the whole of the TWS promotion so unless Cap is gonna show up with a beard I don't think it could be him.

I do think it could be Cobie or SLJ (especially) considering Chloe may not have met them before.

If Ward remained as the villain on the team for the whole series, he could become the breakout character on the show, even though he started off as the blandest. Every interaction would be charged with undertones and the dynamic would completely change.

All i'm trying to make a point of is I hope people aren't getting their hopes up that an Avenger is going to show up because of that quote from Bennet and then when none of them show up start complaining about it.
